Setup Guide
1. Outdoor Wireless Weather Sensor Setup
The outdoor sensor is designed for easy installation. It accurately measures temperature, humidity, and wind speed, transmitting data wirelessly to the indoor display via a 433 MHz signal. For optimal performance, mount the sensor in an open area, away from obstructions, heat sources, and sprinkler systems.
- Powering the Sensor: The outdoor wireless sensor requires four (4) AA alkaline or lithium batteries (not included). Ensure batteries are inserted correctly according to polarity markings.
- Mounting Options: Use the included mounting bracket to securely attach the sensor to a pole or a flat surface outside your home. Ensure the sensor is level for accurate readings.

2. Indoor Display Unit Setup
The indoor display unit presents all collected weather data in an easy-to-read format. It is powered by an AC adapter with an optional battery backup.
- Powering the Display: Plug the included 5V AC adapter into the display unit and a standard wall outlet. For optional battery backup, install three (3) AA alkaline or lithium batteries (not included) into the battery compartment. This ensures historical records are saved during a power outage.
- Placement: The display features an integrated fold-out tabletop stand for desktop use or integrated keyholes for wall-mounting. Place the display in a central location within range of the outdoor sensor.

Display Features
- Auto-Dim Feature: The display includes an automatic dimming option for comfortable viewing at night without disrupting sleep.
- High/Low Records: Use the arrows on the display to view high and low records for temperature and humidity.
- Manual Calibration: Temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure can be manually calibrated for precise measurements. Refer to the detailed instruction manual for specific steps.
Maintenance
Battery Replacement
- Outdoor Sensor: Replace the four (4) AA alkaline or lithium batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the indoor display.
- Indoor Display: If using battery backup, replace the three (3) AA alkaline or lithium batteries when the low battery indicator appears.
Cleaning
- Display Unit: Clean the display with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Outdoor Sensor: Periodically check the outdoor sensor for debris (leaves, insects, etc.) that may obstruct the wind cups or ventilation openings. Clean gently with a soft cloth or brush.
Troubleshooting
- No Signal/Intermittent Signal: Ensure the outdoor sensor and indoor display are within the 330-foot range. Check for potential interference from large metal objects, thick walls, or other electronic devices. Verify outdoor sensor batteries are fresh and correctly installed.
- Inaccurate Wind Speed: Confirm the outdoor sensor is mounted in an open area, free from obstructions like trees or buildings that could block wind flow. Ensure the sensor is level.
- Incorrect Barometric Pressure: If manual calibration is not functioning, refer to the full instruction manual for advanced settings or contact support.
- LCD Display Issues: If the display appears faded or difficult to read from certain angles, adjust your viewing position. The auto-dim feature can be adjusted for brightness.
- Outdoor Sensor Battery Issues (e.g., overheating, rust): This may indicate water ingress. Ensure the battery compartment is sealed properly after battery installation. If issues persist, the sensor may be damaged and require replacement.
