4.1 Assembly
The Kärcher FC 7 comes largely pre-assembled. Simply attach the handle to the main body until it clicks securely into place. Ensure all four microfiber rollers are properly installed on the cleaning head.
4.2 Charging the Battery
Before first use, fully charge the device. Place the FC 7 on its Clean & Park Charging Station and connect the charging cable to a power outlet. The battery indicator lights on the handle will show the charging status. A full charge provides approximately 45 minutes of cleaning time.
4.3 Filling the Water Tanks
The FC 7 features a dual-tank system. The fresh water tank is located on the upper part of the handle. Open the tank, fill it with clean water, and add the recommended amount of Kärcher floor cleaning solution. The dirty water is collected in a separate tray located in the base unit.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Powering On and Selecting Mode
To power on the device, press the power button on the handle. The FC 7 offers two cleaning modes, which can be adjusted to match the floor type and level of dirt. There is also a boost function for stubborn dirt. Refer to the display on the handle for current mode selection.

5.2 Cleaning Process
The FC 7's counter-rotating rollers propel the device across the floor, making cleaning effortless. Simply guide the cleaner over the desired area. The device simultaneously applies fresh water and detergent, scrubs the floor, and suctions away dirty water and debris into the waste water tray. Floors dry within approximately 2 minutes due to the minimal amount of cleaning solution used.

7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Kärcher FC 7, refer to the following common solutions:
- Device not turning on/charging: Ensure the charging cable is securely connected to both the station and a working power outlet. Check if the battery is fully depleted; it may take a few minutes for the indicator lights to appear.
- Poor cleaning performance: Check if the fresh water tank is filled and the dirty water tray is not full. Ensure the rollers are clean and properly installed.
- Excessive streaking: This may indicate too much cleaning solution or dirty rollers. Reduce detergent amount or clean the rollers.
- Unusual noises: Check for any obstructions in the roller area or debris caught in the suction channels.
