Setup

1. Battery Installation

The safe requires 4 AA batteries for the electronic keypad to function. The battery compartment is located inside the safe door.

  1. Open the safe door using the emergency key (refer to 'Operating Instructions' if needed).
  2. Locate the battery compartment cover on the inside of the door.
  3. Remove the cover and insert 4 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Replace the battery compartment cover securely.

2. Mounting the Safe

For enhanced security, the safe can be mounted to a wall or floor using the provided mounting screws.

  1. Choose a suitable location for mounting, ensuring it is a solid surface (e.g., concrete wall, wooden floor).
  2. Open the safe door and locate the pre-drilled holes on the back or bottom of the safe.
  3. Position the safe and mark the drilling points on the wall/floor through the holes.
  4. Drill holes at the marked points using an appropriate drill bit.
  5. Align the safe with the drilled holes and secure it using the provided mounting screws. Ensure all screws are tightened firmly.

Operating Instructions

1. Setting/Changing the Passcode

The safe comes with a default password. It is highly recommended to change this to a personalized code for security.

  1. With the safe door open, press the red reset button located inside the battery compartment cover. The yellow light on the keypad will illuminate.
  2. Enter your new master code (3 to 8 digits) on the keypad.
  3. Press the '#' key to confirm. The yellow light will flash twice, and two beeps will sound, indicating successful code change. If the yellow light flashes three times with three beeps, the code change failed, and you need to try again.
  4. Test your new password with the door open before closing it.

2. Opening the Safe

The safe can be opened using the electronic keypad or the emergency key.

Using the Keypad:
  1. Enter your personalized 3-8 digit password.
  2. Press the '#' key. The green light will illuminate.
  3. Within 5 seconds, rotate the knob clockwise to open the safe door.
Using the Emergency Key:

This method is used if you forget your password or if the batteries are depleted.

  1. Gently push and remove the small cover plate located next to the keypad to reveal the emergency keyhole.
  2. Insert the emergency key into the keyhole and turn it counter-clockwise.
  3. While holding the key turned, rotate the knob clockwise to open the safe door.
  4. Remove the emergency key and replace the cover plate after use.
Using External Power (USB-C):

If the batteries are dead and you don't have the emergency key readily available, you can use an external USB-C power source.

  1. Locate the USB-C port on the keypad panel.
  2. Connect a portable charger or power bank to the USB-C port.
  3. Once powered, enter your password on the keypad and rotate the knob clockwise to open the safe.
  4. Replace the internal batteries as soon as possible.
