3. Setup

Unpacking:

1. Carefully remove the curling iron and all accessories from the packaging.
2. Inspect the appliance for any signs of damage. If damaged, do not use and contact customer support.
3. Retain the packaging for storage or future transport.

Initial Power-On:

1. Ensure your hands are dry before plugging in the appliance.
2. Plug the curling iron into a suitable electrical outlet. The digital LED display will illuminate.
3. Press and hold the power button until the display shows a temperature reading.

4. Operating Instructions

Temperature Adjustment:

1. After powering on, use the temperature control dial (located near the handle) to select your desired heat setting.
2. The LED display will show the current temperature and increase until the set temperature is reached.
3. Allow approximately 30-60 seconds for the iron to reach the desired temperature.

Curling Hair:

1. Ensure hair is clean, dry, and free of tangles. For best results, apply a heat protectant spray.
2. Section your hair into manageable strands, typically 1-2 inches wide.
3. Open the clamp and place the end of a hair section under it. Close the clamp gently.
4. Wrap the hair around the barrel, away from your face, ensuring even distribution.
5. Hold for 5-10 seconds, depending on your hair type and desired curl intensity.
6. Release the clamp and gently slide the curling iron out, allowing the curl to cool in your hand for a few seconds to set.
7. Repeat for all sections of hair. Once all hair is curled and cooled, gently run your fingers through the curls to loosen them for a natural look.

5. Maintenance

Cleaning:

• Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
• Wipe the barrel and handle with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Ensure no water enters the internal components.

Storage:

• Store the curling iron in a cool, dry place, away from moisture.
• Do not wrap the cord around the appliance, as this can cause damage. Coil the cord loosely.
