The slow cooker consists of the main heating unit, a removable 6-quart hard anodized pot with Thermolon™ Volt ceramic nonstick coating, a tempered glass lid, and a stainless steel steamer basket.

Setup and First Use

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials and promotional labels from the slow cooker.
2. Cleaning: Before first use, wash the removable pot, tempered glass lid, and steamer basket in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. The removable pot, lid, and steamer are dishwasher safe. Wipe the exterior of the main heating unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
3. Placement: Place the slow cooker on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from walls or other appliances to ensure proper ventilation.
4. Power Connection: Ensure the voltage of your power outlet matches the appliance's requirements (220V). Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.

The in-pot browning function allows you to sear meats or sauté vegetables directly in the removable pot before slow cooking.

The Thermolon™ Volt healthy ceramic nonstick coating is PFAS-free, PFOA-free, lead-free, and cadmium-free, ensuring worry-free cooking.

Using the Presets:

• Slow Cook: For traditional slow cooking recipes.
• Sauté/Brown: To sear ingredients before slow cooking, enhancing flavor.
• Steam: Use with the included stainless steel steamer basket for steaming vegetables, dumplings, etc.
• Simmer/Buffet: Ideal for keeping food warm or gently simmering.

• Warm: Automatically switches to warm mode after cooking is complete, or can be selected manually.

To select a function, press the corresponding button on the control panel. Use the Time and Temp buttons to adjust settings as needed. Press Start/Stop to begin or end a cooking cycle.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your slow cooker.

The removable pot is designed for easy cleaning, either by hand or in the dishwasher.

• Always unplug the slow cooker from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
• Removable Pot, Lid, and Steamer: These components are dishwasher safe. For hand washing, use warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge or cloth. Avoid using harsh detergents, abrasive pads, or steel wool, as these can damage the nonstick coating.
• Main Heating Unit: Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scourers. Never immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid.
