1. Product Overview

3. Setup

3.1 App Installation

Download the eufy Security App from the App Store (for iOS devices) or Google Play (for Android devices). Follow the on-screen instructions to create an account and log in.

Before mounting, fully charge each eufyCam 3C camera. You can use the USB-C port on the back of the HomeBase 3 or any 5V USB-A charging port with the included cable. A full charge may take approximately 4-5 hours.

3.3 Adding Devices to the App

Follow the on-screen instructions within the eufy Security App to add your HomeBase 3 and eufyCam 3C cameras to your device list. Ensure the camera and HomeBase are within 1 meter during the pairing process. Press the SYNC button on the camera for 2 seconds until you hear a beep to initiate pairing.

4. Installation

4.1 Choosing a Location

Select a mounting location that is 6.6-9.8 ft (2-3 m) above the ground for optimal coverage. Ensure the chosen location has a strong and stable Wi-Fi signal. If your camera experiences poor Wi-Fi, try moving it closer to your HomeBase or moving the HomeBase closer to the camera.

4.2 Mounting the Camera

1. Mark the screw positions using the provided positioning sticker as a template.
2. Drill holes in the marked locations. Insert the screw anchors if mounting onto a non-wooden surface.
3. Fix the screw mounting base to the wall using the provided screws.
4. Combine the parts of the screw mounting base and secure them with the locking ring. Ensure the notch points in the direction you want the camera to face.
5. Screw the camera onto the screw mounting base. Make sure the eufy logo is facing upward.
6. Adjust the camera to your desired horizontal and vertical positions. Open the eufy Security app to verify the view. Tighten the locking ring to secure the camera's position.

5.1 Live View and Two-Way Audio

Access the eufy Security App to view live footage from your cameras. The app allows for two-way audio communication, enabling you to speak through the camera's speaker and hear audio from its microphone.
