Setup and Installation
Proper installation is crucial for the performance and safety of your range hood. It is recommended that installation be performed by a qualified installer.
1. Preparation and Measurement
Before installation, verify the dimensions of the range hood and the cabinet opening. The recommended opening size for this 36-inch model is approximately 33-7/8 inches by 10-1/4 inches. Ensure adequate space for the ventilation system.

2. Remove Protective Tape from Baffle Filters
Before installing the unit, carefully peel off any protective tape from the baffle filters. This ensures proper airflow and appearance.

3. Install Plastic Chimney Apparatus
Assemble the silicone sealing ring and damper flapper onto the plastic adapter. Secure the 6-inch adapter plate to the top of the housing using an electric screwdriver. Ensure correct orientation to avoid improper installation.
4. Prepare Cabinet for Installation
Install a sturdy wood frame within the cabinet opening to securely fix the range hood. This frame provides the necessary support for the unit.
5. Attach Ductwork
Remove the baffle filters from the range hood. Attach the ductwork to the plastic chimney apparatus on the top of the hood. Apply HVAC tape over the connection to ensure a secure and airtight seal.
6. Mount the Range Hood
Carefully slide the range hood housing into the prepared wood frame in the cabinet. Secure it by screwing the unit into the wood frame. Once mounted, reinsert the baffle filters.

Operating Instructions
The Akicon E70 range hood features user-friendly push-button controls for fan speed and lighting.
1. Power On/Off
Connect the range hood to a power source. The unit is ready for operation.
2. Fan Speed Control
The range hood is equipped with a 3-speed fan. Use the push buttons on the control panel to select your desired fan speed: low (35dB), medium, or high (65dB). The powerful 600 CFM airflow effectively removes cooking fumes and odors.

3. LED Lighting
