The YOLOLIV Instream is an integrated live streaming device designed specifically for vertical platforms such as Instagram and TikTok. This all-in-one solution functions as an encoder, switcher, recorder, and monitor, providing a comprehensive broadcasting studio in a compact form factor. It supports various connectivity options including 4G LTE, WiFi, and Ethernet, making it highly versatile for diverse live streaming needs.

2. Setup Guide

2.1 Unboxing and Initial Inspection

Upon opening the package, ensure all components are present and undamaged:

• Box

2.2 Powering On

The Instream device comes with a 10,000mAh built-in Lithium Metal battery, providing over 3 hours of continuous live streaming. To power on, press and hold the power button located on the top edge of the device. Ensure the device is sufficiently charged before initial use. For extended use, connect the device to a power source via the USB-C port (charging only).

2.3 Connectivity Options

The YOLOLIV Instream offers multiple ways to connect and stream:

• Wired Inputs: 2 HDMI inputs, 1 USB input (for cameras or other devices), SD card slot for video or PDF sources.

3. Operating Your YOLOLIV Instream

3.1 Intuitive Touchscreen Interface

The Instream features a high-brightness 8-inch touchscreen (600 nits) that allows for effortless operation. The Android-based system provides a user-friendly interface, similar to a smartphone, for managing all live streaming functions directly on the device without the need for an external computer or OBS software.

3.2 Vertical Streaming for Social Media

Instream is specifically designed for native vertical live streaming, making it ideal for platforms like Instagram and TikTok. This eliminates the need for complex reformatting or external tools, allowing you to go live directly in the optimal vertical aspect ratio.

3.3 Multi-Source Input and Switching

The Instream supports multiple video inputs, allowing for dynamic multi-camera productions. You can connect up to two HDMI sources, one USB source, and utilize SD card video or PDF files. The device enables seamless switching between these sources, providing a professional production experience.

3.5 Recording and Multistreaming

The Instream allows you to record your live productions directly to an SD card in 4K or 1080p resolution. Additionally, it supports multistreaming, enabling you to broadcast simultaneously to multiple platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, and any other RTMP-supported website.

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your YOLOLIV Instream, follow these maintenance guidelines:

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device's exterior. For the touchscreen, use a microfiber cloth specifically designed for electronics. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. When not in use for extended periods, ensure the battery is charged to about 50% to prolong its lifespan.
• Battery Care: While the device has a robust battery, avoid fully discharging it regularly. Charge it when the battery level is low to maintain battery health.
