Setup Guide
1. Unpacking and Placement
Carefully remove the Brother SE2000 from its packaging. Ensure all components and accessories are present. Place the machine on a stable, flat surface with adequate space for operation and material handling. The machine weighs approximately 38 pounds and has dimensions of 17.56"D x 9.49"W x 11.81"H.

2. Power Connection
Connect the power cord to the machine and then to a 120-volt power outlet. This product is intended for sale only in the US at 120 volts, and any other use or sale may void the warranty.
3. Initial Threading and Bobbin Winding
Refer to the detailed instructions in the operation manual for proper upper thread and bobbin winding. The machine features an automatic needle threader and a jam-resistant drop-in bobbin for ease of use.
Operating Instructions
1. Using the Touchscreen Display
The 3.7-inch LCD color touchscreen allows you to select stitches, embroidery designs, and access various editing options. You can easily resize, rotate, reposition, and combine designs directly on the screen.

2. Sewing Functions
The SE2000 offers 241 built-in sewing stitches, including 10 styles of 1-step buttonholes that are automatically sized to fit your buttons. Utilize the adjustable speed control for precise stitching. The machine also features an automatic backstitcher and automatic thread cutter for convenience.
3. Embroidery Functions
With 193 built-in embroidery designs and 13 fonts, you can personalize a wide range of items. The 5" x 7" embroidery field provides ample space. Advanced Color Sort optimizes stitching order, and the Jump Stitch Trimming function automatically trims excess threads for a clean finish.

4. Artspira Mobile App and Wireless Connectivity
The Artspira Mobile App allows you to access 50 free embroidery designs, create custom patterns by drawing on your mobile device, and transfer them wirelessly to your SE2000. The machine's wireless LAN capability also enables you to send embroidery files from your PC using the Design Database Transfer software.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning
Regularly clean your machine using the included cleaning brush to remove lint and dust from the bobbin area and feed dogs. Keep the machine covered when not in use to prevent dust accumulation.
2. General Care
The product's care instructions specify "Hand Wash" for any fabric items created with the machine. For the machine itself, avoid harsh chemicals. Refer to the detailed operation manual for specific lubrication and maintenance schedules.
Troubleshooting
1. Threading Issues
If you experience skipped stitches or tangled threads, re-thread the machine completely, ensuring the upper thread is correctly seated in all guides and the bobbin is inserted properly. Ensure the needle is ALL THE WAY UP when using the automatic threader lever to prevent damage.
2. Machine Not Powering On
Check that the power cord is securely connected to both the machine and a working 120-volt power outlet. Verify that the power switch is in the "On" position.
3. Embroidery Design Transfer Problems
Ensure your machine's firmware is updated (version 1.51 or above) and that your mobile device or PC is connected to the same wireless network as the machine. For PC transfers, confirm the Design Database Transfer software is correctly installed and configured. A USB drive (not included) is required for firmware updates.
