Important Safety Instructions

- A fire may occur if the toaster oven is covered or touching flammable material, including curtains, drapes, walls, and the like, when in operation.

- Do not store any materials, other than manufacturer's recommended accessories, in this oven when not in use.
- Do not cover crumb tray or any part of the oven with metal foil. This will cause overheating of the oven.

Setup and First Use
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the oven and all accessories from the packaging. Remove any packing materials, stickers, or labels.
- Placement: Place the oven on a stable, heat-resistant, and level surface. Ensure there is at least 10-15 cm (4-6 inches) of space on all sides for proper ventilation. Do not place it near flammable materials.
- Initial Cleaning: Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Wash the wire rack and baking tray in warm, soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry completely.
- First Burn-Off: Before cooking food, operate the oven empty for about 15 minutes at the maximum temperature (230°C). This will burn off any manufacturing oils and eliminate odors. A slight odor and smoke are normal during this process. Ensure the area is well-ventilated.
- Cool Down: Allow the oven to cool completely after the burn-off cycle.
Operating Instructions
Follow these steps to operate your Mayer Air Toaster Oven:
- Prepare Food: Place your food item on the wire rack or baking tray.
- Insert Tray/Rack: Slide the wire rack or baking tray into the desired rack position inside the oven.
- Close Door: Close the glass door securely.
- Set Temperature: Turn the Temperature Control Knob to your desired temperature setting (from 60°C to 230°C).
- Set Timer: Turn the Timer Knob clockwise to the desired cooking time (up to 60 minutes). The power indicator light will illuminate.
- For continuous operation, turn the timer knob counter-clockwise to the "STAY ON" position. The oven will remain on until manually turned off.
- When the set time elapses, a bell will ring, and the oven will automatically turn off.
- Monitor Cooking: You can observe the cooking progress through the glass door.
- Remove Food: Once cooking is complete, carefully open the door and use oven mitts to remove the hot food and tray/rack.
- Turn Off: If the oven is in "STAY ON" mode, turn the Timer Knob to "OFF" to switch off the appliance. Unplug the oven from the power outlet when not in use.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance will prolong the life of your Mayer Air Toaster Oven.
- Always Unplug: Before cleaning, always unplug the oven from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely.
- Crumb Tray: Pull out the crumb tray from the bottom of the oven. Discard crumbs. Wipe the tray with a damp cloth or wash in warm, soapy water. Dry thoroughly before replacing.
- Wire Rack and Baking Tray: Wash these accessories in warm, soapy water. For stubborn food residue, soak them before cleaning. Rinse and dry completely. These parts are generally not dishwasher safe unless specified.
- Interior: Wipe the interior walls with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads, as they can damage the non-stick coating (if applicable) or surfaces. For baked-on grease, a paste of baking soda and water can be applied, left for a few minutes, then wiped clean.
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior surface with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or polishes.
- Glass Door: Clean the glass door with a glass cleaner or a damp cloth. For stubborn stains, a non-abrasive cleaner can be used.
- Do Not Immerse: Never immerse the main body of the oven, cord, or plug in water or any other liquid.
Storage: Ensure the oven is clean and dry before storing. Store it in a cool, dry place.
