1. Introduction
This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Mars Gaming ML-ONE120 Liquid CPU Cooler. Designed for optimal thermal performance, the ML-ONE120 features an Infinity Mirror with FRGB illumination, an OPTI-CHAMBER pump, a silent FDB fan, and broad compatibility with various CPU sockets. Please read this manual thoroughly before installation to ensure correct setup and safe operation.
2. Safety Information
- Always disconnect power from your computer before installing or servicing any components.
- Handle the cooler and its components with care to avoid damage.
- Do not open the pump or radiator; the liquid cooling system is sealed and requires no refilling.
- Keep the product away from direct sunlight, high temperatures, and high humidity.
- Ensure proper grounding of your system to prevent electrical hazards.
3. Package Contents
Verify that all components are present and undamaged before proceeding with installation:
- ML-ONE120 Liquid CPU Cooler Unit (Pump, Radiator, and Tubes)
- 120mm FRGB Fan
- Universal Mounting Hardware Kit (for Intel and AMD sockets)
- Thermal Paste (pre-applied or in a tube)
- User Manual
4. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for proper installation of your ML-ONE120 liquid cooler. Refer to the included diagrams for visual guidance.
4.1 Prepare the CPU and Motherboard
- Install the appropriate backplate for your CPU socket (Intel or AMD) onto the motherboard.
- Secure the standoffs into the backplate.
- Clean the CPU surface with isopropyl alcohol to remove any residue.
- Apply a small amount of thermal paste to the center of the CPU if not pre-applied to the cold plate.
4.2 Mount the Pump/Cold Plate
Carefully align the pump/cold plate assembly with the CPU and the standoffs. Gently lower it into place, ensuring even contact.

4.3 Install the Radiator and Fan
- Attach the 120mm FRGB fan to the radiator using the shorter fan screws. Ensure the fan is oriented to push air through the radiator (typically towards the outside of the case for exhaust, or into the case for intake, depending on your case airflow).
- Mount the radiator assembly to an available 120mm fan mount in your PC case using the longer radiator screws. Common locations include the rear or top of the case. The 400mm Teflon tubes provide flexibility for placement.

4.4 Connect Cables
- Connect the pump's 3-pin power connector to a CPU_FAN or AIO_PUMP header on your motherboard.
- Connect the fan's 3-pin power connector to an available fan header on your motherboard.
- Connect the FRGB lighting cable from the pump and fan to a compatible FRGB header on your motherboard or a dedicated FRGB controller. Note that the FRGB lighting is fixed and does not offer customizable color changes.
5. Operating Instructions
Once installed, the Mars Gaming ML-ONE120 operates automatically. The pump and fan speeds are typically controlled by your motherboard's BIOS/UEFI settings based on CPU temperature. Ensure these settings are configured for optimal cooling performance and noise levels.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance helps ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your liquid cooler.
- Dust Removal: Periodically clean the radiator fins and fan blades using compressed air. Ensure the fan is held stationary during cleaning to prevent damage to the bearings.
- Cable Check: Verify that all power and FRGB cables remain securely connected.
- Visual Inspection: Occasionally inspect the tubes and connections for any signs of wear or leaks. While AIOs are sealed, a quick visual check is always recommended.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your ML-ONE120 cooler, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| High CPU Temperatures | Improper thermal paste application; Loose pump mount; Insufficient airflow; Pump failure; Fan not spinning. | Reapply thermal paste; Ensure pump is securely mounted; Check fan orientation and speed; Verify pump is powered and running; Check fan cable connection. |
| Fan Not Spinning | Fan cable disconnected or faulty; Insufficient power from motherboard header. | Check fan cable connection to motherboard; Try a different fan header. |
| Pump Noise (Loud/High-Pitched) | Pump running at 100% speed; Air bubbles in the loop. | Adjust pump speed in BIOS/UEFI if possible (some pumps run at fixed speed); Gently tilt the PC case to help dislodge air bubbles. |
| FRGB Lighting Not Working | FRGB cable disconnected; Faulty FRGB header. | Check FRGB cable connection; Ensure FRGB header is enabled in BIOS/UEFI. |
