Setup
1. Initial Winding
As an automatic mechanical watch, it does not require a battery. For the first use, or if the watch has not been worn for an extended period and has stopped, it needs to be manually wound. To do this, ensure the crown is in its normal operating position (pushed in). Rotate the crown clockwise approximately 20-30 times until you feel a slight resistance. This will build up enough power reserve to start the watch.
2. Setting the Time
- Pull the crown gently outwards to the first click position.
- Rotate the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise to set the hour and minute hands to the correct time.
- Once the time is set, push the crown back into its original position to secure it and start the watch movement.
Operating the Watch
Automatic Movement
Your FORSINING watch is powered by an automatic mechanical movement. This means it is wound by the motion of your wrist while wearing it. Regular daily wear (approximately 8-10 hours) is usually sufficient to keep the watch running. If the watch is not worn for more than 24-36 hours, it may stop and require manual winding as described in the 'Initial Winding' section.
Wearing the Watch
Adjust the genuine leather strap to fit comfortably on your wrist. The watch should be snug enough not to slide freely, but not so tight as to restrict circulation. Proper fit ensures optimal winding of the automatic movement.
Luminous Hands
The watch hands feature a luminous coating that absorbs light and glows in the dark, allowing for time reading in low-light conditions. Exposure to bright light will enhance the luminosity.

Maintenance
Water Resistance
This watch is rated for 30 meters (3 ATM) of water resistance. This means it is suitable for daily use and can withstand splashes, rain, and brief immersion in water. It is not suitable for swimming, diving, showering, or any activities involving prolonged water exposure or high-pressure water. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in to maintain water resistance.

Cleaning
- Case and Crystal: Wipe gently with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying.
- Leather Strap: Avoid prolonged exposure to water, direct sunlight, and harsh chemicals, as these can damage the leather. Clean with a dry or slightly damp soft cloth. Allow to air dry completely if it gets wet.

Storage
When not wearing the watch, store it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. The included gift box is ideal for storage.
Avoid Magnetic Fields
Mechanical watches can be affected by strong magnetic fields, which may cause them to run inaccurately. Keep your watch away from strong magnets found in speakers, refrigerators, mobile phones, and other electronic devices.
Troubleshooting
- Watch Stops Running: This is common for automatic watches if not worn regularly. Manually wind the watch (20-30 clockwise turns of the crown) and wear it for several hours. If it still does not run, ensure the crown is fully pushed in.
- Time Inaccuracy: Mechanical watches may have slight variations in accuracy. If the watch is consistently running too fast or too slow, it might be due to magnetic interference or a need for professional adjustment. Keep it away from strong magnetic sources.
- Condensation Inside Dial: If you notice moisture or condensation under the crystal, it indicates a breach in water resistance. Stop using the watch immediately and contact customer support.
