3. Setup
3.1 Unfolding and Powering On
The Osmo Mobile 6 powers on automatically as soon as it is unfolded. Simply unfold the gimbal arms to activate the device.

3.2 Attaching Your Smartphone
Attach your smartphone using the DJI OM Magnetic Phone Clamp 3. This robust magnetic force keeps smartphones secure while allowing easy attachment and removal.

3.3 App Installation (DJI Mimo)
For full functionality and optimal user experience, download the DJI Mimo app. Note: Due to platform compatibility issues, the DJI Mimo app has been removed from Google Play. Android users should log in to the DJI official website to download the latest version of DJI Mimo.
Once installed, enable Quick Launch in the DJI Mimo app and follow the instructions to complete authorization.

4.1 3-Axis Stabilization
The DJI Osmo Mobile 6 features 3-axis stabilization, ensuring super steady shots even when you're on the move. This advanced technology helps capture smooth, cinematic footage, eliminating shaky video.

4.2 ActiveTrack 6.0

4.3 Built-in Extension Rod
The integrated 215mm extension rod allows for versatile shooting needs, enabling unique angles for group selfies, low-angle shots, and high-angle perspectives.

4.4 Remote Control with Watch
Install the DJI Mimo app on your Apple Watch (Series 7/8/9, SE 2, Ultra 1/2 with watchOS 9 or later) to use it as a smart remote. This allows you to remotely view camera feeds, adjust the gimbal's angle, and capture photos or record videos directly from your watch.

4.5 Basic Controls and Gimbal Modes
The side wheel provides precise control over focus and zoom, enabling cinematic effects. The built-in status panel allows you to conveniently check battery level, system status, and switch between four gimbal modes: Follow, Tilt Locked, FPV, and SpinShot.
