The MT007 Pro-EN model features voice broadcast in English by default. To disable voice broadcast, press and hold the N/LP button while turning on the device.
Operating Instructions
The MT007 series multimeter offers various measurement functions. Use the "Select" button to cycle through different modes.
General Operation
- Mode Selection: Press the Select button to switch between measurement modes (e.g., DC Voltage, AC Voltage, Resistance, Capacitance, Frequency, Diode, Buzzer, etc.).
- Data Hold: Press the HOLD button to freeze the current reading on the display. Press again to release.
- N/LP Button: Used for specific functions like disabling voice broadcast (MT007 Pro-EN) or for Live Wire/Phase detection.
- Automatic Shutdown: The device will power off automatically after approximately 5 minutes of no operation.
Measurement Functions
- DC Voltage Measurement:
Connect the test lead to the circuit. The device can measure DC voltage from 0.8V to 1000V.
- AC Voltage Measurement:
Connect the test lead to the AC circuit. The device can measure AC voltage from 0.8V to 700V.
- Resistance Measurement:
Connect the test lead across the component. Measures resistance from 0.1Ω to 60MΩ. Note that resistance measurement may take a few seconds to settle, especially for higher values or continuity checks.
- Capacitance Measurement:
Connect the test lead across the capacitor. Measures capacitance from 10nF to 60mF. Measurement time can vary.
- Frequency Measurement:
Measures frequency from 1Hz to 10MHz.
- Diode Test:
Tests diodes by applying a forward voltage of approximately 3.0V.
- Continuity (Buzzer) Test:
Checks for continuity with a buzzer indication for resistance between 0.1Ω and 50Ω.
- Fire Distinguish:
Identifies live wire (fire wire) in an AC circuit.
- Phase Sequences:
Determines the phase sequence in three-phase power systems.
- Flashlight:
Activate the built-in flashlight to illuminate dark work areas.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the multimeter in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for extended periods, remove the battery to prevent leakage.
- Battery Replacement: Replace the battery when the low voltage prompt appears on the display to ensure accurate readings.
- Test Lead Care: Inspect the test lead for any damage before each use. Replace if insulation is cracked or wires are exposed.
Troubleshooting
- Device does not turn on:
- Check if the battery is installed correctly with the right polarity.
- Replace the battery with a new 1.5V AAA battery.
- Ensure the power button is pressed and held sufficiently.
- Inaccurate readings:
- Ensure the correct measurement mode is selected.
- Check the test lead connections for proper contact.
- Verify battery level; a low battery can affect accuracy.
- Ensure the component being measured is within the device's specified range.
- Voice broadcast not working (MT007 Pro-EN):
- Ensure the voice broadcast feature has not been disabled (by holding N/LP button during power-on).
- Check the volume settings if applicable (though not explicitly mentioned, a common troubleshooting step).
- Slow resistance/capacitance readings:
This is normal for some measurements, especially for higher resistance or capacitance values, as the device needs time to settle the reading.
