2. Safety Information
- Ensure the meter is connected to a properly grounded power outlet.
- Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of 3680W. Overloading can damage the device and connected appliances, and poses a fire risk.
- Do not disassemble or attempt to repair the device. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel.
- Keep the device away from water, moisture, and extreme temperatures.
- The meter is constructed from flame-retardant ABS material for enhanced safety.

3.2 Device Layout and Display
The KTEM02BL IT features a clear LCD display and five control buttons for easy operation.

Display Elements:
- Total Time: Cumulative operating time.
- kWh: Cumulative energy consumption.
- Cost: Total electricity cost based on set price.
- W (Active Power): Current power consumption in Watts.
- VA (Apparent Power): Apparent power.
- V (Voltage): Current voltage.
- A (Current): Current amperage.
- Hz (Frequency): Current frequency.
- PF (Power Factor): Power factor.
- Max Power: Maximum recorded power.
- Min Power: Minimum recorded power.
- Overload Alarm: Indication when power exceeds set limit.
- KWh Alarm: Indication when cumulative energy exceeds set limit.
- Cost Alarm: Indication when total cost exceeds set limit.
Control Buttons:
- M (Mode): Cycles through different display modes.
- + (Plus): Increases values during setting.
- OK: Confirms settings or enters setting mode.
- - (Minus): Decreases values during setting.
- S (Set/Reset): Enters setting mode for alarms/cost or performs a reset.
4. Setup
- Plug In: Insert the KETOTEK Energy Meter into a standard Italian wall socket.
- Connect Appliance: Plug the appliance you wish to monitor into the meter's socket.
- Initial Display: The LCD screen will light up, displaying default or previously stored data. The backlight will activate automatically when any button is pressed and will turn off after approximately 10 minutes of inactivity.
- Set Electricity Price (Optional but Recommended): To calculate electricity costs accurately, you need to set the price per kWh.
- Press the S button to enter the price setting mode.
- Use the + and - buttons to adjust the digit that is flashing.
- Press OK to move to the next digit.
- Once the price is set, press S again to save and exit.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Monitoring Data Modes
Press the M (Mode) button repeatedly to cycle through the various measurement displays:

- Mode 1: Total Time, Cumulative kWh, Total Cost
- Mode 2: Total Time, Current Voltage (V), Current Amperage (A)
- Mode 3: Total Time, Active Power (W), Apparent Power (VA)
- Mode 4: Total Time, Frequency (Hz), Power Factor (PF)
- Mode 5: Total Time, Maximum Power (Max W)
- Mode 6: Total Time, Minimum Power (Min W)
5.2 Setting Alarms (Overload, kWh, Cost)
The meter features multiple protection alarms to alert you when certain thresholds are exceeded.

- Press and hold the S button for 3 seconds to enter alarm setting mode.
- Press M to cycle through Overload (W), KWh Alarm, and Cost Alarm settings.
- Use + and - buttons to adjust the desired alarm value.
- Press OK to confirm the digit and move to the next.
- Once all alarm values are set, press S again to save and exit.
When an alarm threshold is reached, the display will flash "OVERLOAD", "KWh Alarm", or "Cost Alarm", and an LED indicator will blink to warn the user.
5.3 Memory Function
The KTEM02BL IT is equipped with a memory function. All set parameters (like electricity price and alarm thresholds) and cumulative measurement data (kWh, cost, total time) are automatically stored. This means your data will be retained even if the device is unplugged or experiences a power outage.

5.4 Reset Function
To clear all cumulative measurement data (kWh, cost, total time) while retaining your set parameters (electricity price, alarm thresholds):
- Press and hold the S button for approximately 5 seconds until the display resets.
Alternatively, a small reset button might be present on the device (refer to Figure 1 for exact location if applicable). Use a thin object (like a paperclip) to press it.
6. Maintenance
- Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Ensure the device is unplugged before cleaning.
- Store the meter in a cool, dry place when not in use.
7. Troubleshooting
