2. Setup and Installation
2.1 Components

2.2 Installation Options
This range hood supports both ducted and ductless (recirculating) installation. For ductless operation, ensure the charcoal filter is properly installed to filter air before recirculation.

2.3 Carbon Filter Installation (Ductless Mode)
If converting to ductless operation, the included charcoal filter must be installed. Refer to the video below for detailed instructions.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Control Panel
The range hood features an intuitive touch control panel for easy operation of all functions.

- Power Key: Turns the unit on/off.
- Speed Key: Adjusts fan speed (4 levels).
- Lighting Key: Controls the LED lights.

3.2 Gesture Sensing Control

4.1 Cleaning Aluminum Filters
The aluminum filters are washable and designed for easy removal and cleaning. They can be cleaned by hand with warm, soapy water or placed in a dishwasher.

4.2 Replacing Charcoal Filters (Ductless Mode)
For optimal performance in ductless mode, charcoal filters should be replaced periodically, typically every 3-6 months depending on usage. Refer to the installation video in Section 2.3 for removal and replacement guidance.
5. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your IKTCH range hood, please review the following common problems and solutions:
- No Power: Check the power connection and circuit breaker. Ensure the unit is properly plugged in.
- Fan Not Operating: Verify power supply. Check if the fan speed is set to a non-zero level.
- Poor Suction: Clean or replace filters. Ensure proper ducting (if applicable) and that no obstructions are present.
- Lights Not Working: Check if the light function is activated. If individual lights are out, they may require replacement.
- Gesture Control Unresponsive: Ensure your hand movements are clear and pass over both sensing points at a fast speed.
