1. Introduction
The Kemot PROsinus-2600 is an advanced emergency power supply system designed to provide reliable backup power and protect your electronic devices from power outages and fluctuations. This device functions as a pure sine wave inverter with an integrated charging function, converting 24V DC power from an external battery into stable 230V AC power, while also recharging the connected battery.
Key features include comprehensive protection against overloads, short-circuits, and voltage irregularities. It offers three distinct operating modes: backup power with charging, dedicated battery charging, and pure inverter mode. Its constant phase operation ensures compatibility with sensitive appliances, such as certain gas furnaces, maintaining a stable phase regardless of the power source.

- Cooling Fan: Automatically activates to dissipate heat during operation.
- AC Output Sockets: Two standard 230V AC output sockets for connecting appliances.
- Battery Terminals (24VDC): Red (+) and Black (-) terminals for connecting the external 24V battery.
- AC Input (230V): Power inlet for connecting to the main grid for charging and backup mode.
- Circuit Breaker: Provides overload protection for the AC output.
- Charger Current Switch (10A/15A): Selects the battery charging current.
4. Setup
Follow these steps for proper installation and setup of your inverter.
- Placement: Place the inverter on a stable, flat surface in a well-ventilated area. Ensure at least 10 cm of clear space around all sides for airflow.
- Battery Connection:
- Ensure the inverter's main ON/OFF switch is in the OFF position.
- Connect the positive (+) terminal of your 24V external battery to the red (+) terminal on the inverter.
- Connect the negative (-) terminal of your 24V external battery to the black (-) terminal on the inverter.
- Tighten all connections securely. Recommended battery capacity is 50-300 Ah (200 Ah recommended for optimal performance).
- AC Input Connection: Plug the inverter's AC input cable into a standard 230V AC wall outlet.
- Load Connection: Plug your appliances into the AC output sockets on the rear panel of the inverter. Ensure the total power consumption of connected devices does not exceed 1800W.

5. Operating Instructions
The Kemot PROsinus-2600 offers three operational modes:
- Backup Power with Charging Function (UPS Mode):
- Ensure the inverter is connected to both the battery and the AC mains.
- Turn the main ON/OFF switch to ON.
- Press the OUTPUT & INVERTER ON/OFF button to activate the output.
- In this mode, the inverter will power connected devices from the AC mains and simultaneously charge the battery. In case of a power outage, it will automatically switch to battery power (inverter mode) within <=4 ms.
- Charging Mode:
- Connect the inverter to the battery and the AC mains.
- Turn the main ON/OFF switch to ON.
- Do NOT press the OUTPUT & INVERTER ON/OFF button.
- The inverter will only charge the connected battery. Select the desired charging current (10A or 15A) using the switch on the rear panel. Approximate charging time is 4-14 hours, depending on battery capacity.
- Inverter Mode:
- Connect the inverter only to the battery (no AC mains connection).
- Turn the main ON/OFF switch to ON.
- Press the OUTPUT & INVERTER ON/OFF button to activate the output.
- The inverter will convert 24V DC from the battery to 230V AC to power connected devices.
5.1 Display Indicators
The digital display provides real-time information:
- Input Voltage (Vi): Shows the incoming AC voltage from the mains.
- Output Voltage (Vo): Displays the AC voltage supplied to your devices.
- Frequency (Hz): Indicates the output frequency (50Hz or 60Hz).
- Battery Level: A graphical representation of the connected battery's charge status.
- Operational Mode Icons: Icons indicating charging, inverter, or fault conditions.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Kemot PROsinus-2600.
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the exterior of the inverter with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
- Ventilation: Ensure that the cooling fan and ventilation openings are free from dust and obstructions. Use compressed air to clear dust if necessary.
- Connections: Regularly check all electrical connections (battery terminals, AC input, output sockets) to ensure they are secure and free from corrosion.
- Battery Care: Follow the manufacturer's recommendations for your external battery's maintenance. Ensure the battery is kept charged, especially during long periods of inactivity.
