The LogTag UTRED30-WiFi is a dual-channel temperature data logger designed for accurate and reliable monitoring of temperature-sensitive goods. It automatically uploads real-time temperature data to your LogTag Online cloud account via your existing wireless network, ensuring continuous oversight.

3. Setup Guide

3.1 Powering the Device

The UTRED30-WiFi requires 2 AAA batteries (not included) for operation. Insert the batteries into the compartment on the back of the device, observing polarity. The device can also be powered via the USB cable.

3.2 Connecting Probes

Connect the two ST100K-15 external probes to the designated ports on the bottom of the data logger. For accurate temperature monitoring of liquids or sensitive items, place the probes inside the provided buffer bottles.

3.3 WiFi Configuration

To enable real-time data upload, configure the WiFi settings using the LogTag Mobile Application and Bluetooth, or via the LogTag Analyzer software on a computer. Refer to the LogTag Online user guide for detailed instructions on connecting to your wireless network and cloud account.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Display and Indicators

The large LCD display shows current temperature readings for both channels, along with Min/Max values. An auto-channel swapping feature cycles through the readings. A large 'X' on the display and a blinking red alert LED indicate if temperature excursions have occurred. A built-in buzzer can optionally sound an audible alarm.

4.2 Starting and Stopping Logging

Use the 'START/CLEAR/STOP' button on the device to initiate or cease data logging. Follow the on-screen prompts. Data can be downloaded and analyzed using LogTag Analyzer software.

4.3 Resetting Min/Max Readings

The Min/Max temperature readings can be reset at any time by following the instructions in the full user manual or via the LogTag Analyzer software.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Battery Replacement

The device requires 2 AAA batteries. Replace them when the low battery indicator appears on the display to ensure continuous operation and data integrity.

5.2 General Care

Keep the device clean and dry. Avoid exposing it to extreme physical shock or temperatures outside its specified operating range. Store in a cool, dry place when not in use.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Alarm Indicators

If a large 'X' and blinking red LED are present, it indicates that temperature readings have exceeded pre-set alarm limits. Check the environment and the items being monitored. Alerts will also be sent from LogTag Online to registered users.

6.2 Connectivity Issues

Ensure the device is within range of a stable WiFi network. Verify network credentials in the LogTag Analyzer software or mobile app. Check the LogTag Online status for any service interruptions.
