- Dust Cover: Protects the pressing cone when not in use.
- Large Pressing Cone: For larger fruits like oranges and grapefruits.
- Small Pressing Cone: For smaller fruits like lemons and limes.
- Filter: Separates pulp from juice.
- Juice Collection Container: Holds the extracted juice (700 ml capacity).
- Motor Base: Contains the motor and power cord.
- Anti-drip Spout: Prevents juice from dripping after use.
3. Setup and Assembly
Before first use, wash all removable parts thoroughly.
- Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Clean: Wash the dust cover, pressing cones, filter, and juice collection container in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. The motor base should only be wiped with a damp cloth.
- Assemble:
- Place the juice collection container onto the motor base, ensuring it is seated correctly.
- Insert the filter into the juice collection container.
- Select the appropriate pressing cone (large or small) for the fruit you intend to juice and place it onto the filter. The small cone fits inside the large cone for storage.
- Ensure the anti-drip spout is in the closed position (pushed upwards) if you wish to prevent immediate juice flow.
- Position: Place the assembled juicer on a stable, flat, and dry surface.
4. Operating Instructions
Follow these steps to extract fresh juice efficiently.
- Prepare Fruit: Wash citrus fruits thoroughly. Cut larger fruits like oranges and grapefruits in half. Smaller fruits like lemons and limes can be juiced whole if they fit the cone.
- Connect Power: Plug the appliance into a suitable 230V power outlet.
- Position Glass: Place a glass or jug under the anti-drip spout. Ensure the spout is in the open position (pulled downwards) to allow juice to flow.
- Juicing: Place a fruit half onto the pressing cone and apply gentle downward pressure. The motor will automatically start rotating. The two-way rotation system ensures maximum juice extraction.
- Collect Juice: Juice will flow directly into your glass. The filter will separate pulp and seeds.
- Anti-drip Function: Once you have finished juicing or wish to pause, push the anti-drip spout upwards to stop the flow of juice.
- Capacity: The juice collection container has a maximum capacity of 700 ml. Do not exceed this capacity to prevent overflow.
- Finish: When done, unplug the appliance from the power outlet.
5. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your juicer.
- Unplug: Always unplug the juicer from the power outlet before cleaning.
- Disassemble: Remove the pressing cone, filter, and juice collection container from the motor base.
- Wash Removable Parts: Wash the dust cover, pressing cones, filter, and juice collection container immediately after use in warm, soapy water. A brush may be helpful for cleaning the filter mesh. Rinse thoroughly under running water. These parts are generally dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended for longevity.
- Clean Motor Base: Wipe the motor base with a soft, damp cloth. Never immerse the motor base in water or any other liquid.
- Anti-drip Spout: Ensure the anti-drip spout is clean and free of pulp residue to maintain its function.
- Dry and Store: Dry all parts completely before reassembling or storing the appliance. Store in a clean, dry place.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your juicer, refer to the following common problems and solutions.
- Appliance does not turn on:
- Check if the power cord is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet.
- Ensure all parts are correctly assembled. The juicer has a safety mechanism that prevents operation if not assembled properly.
- Low juice yield or excessive pulp:
- Ensure you are applying sufficient, but not excessive, downward pressure on the fruit.
- Check if the filter is clean and not clogged with pulp. Clean if necessary.
- Use fresh, ripe citrus fruits for best results.
- Appliance vibrates excessively or makes unusual noise:
- Ensure the juicer is placed on a stable, flat surface.
- Verify that all components are correctly assembled and securely fitted onto the motor base.
