Operating Instructions
The PARIS RHÔNE Milk Frother offers four distinct modes for preparing milk. Ensure the correct whisk is inserted for your desired function.
Whisk Selection:
- Frothing Whisk: Use the whisk with the coil for creating foam (Hot Dense Foam, Hot Airy Foam, Cold Foam).
- Heating Whisk: Use the whisk without the coil for simply heating milk (Warm Milk).
Steps for Operation:
- Insert Whisk: Place the appropriate whisk onto the shaft at the bottom of the frother jug.
- Add Milk: Pour cold milk into the frother jug. Observe the internal MAX fill lines for frothing and heating to prevent overflow. Do not exceed the maximum fill line.
- Select Mode: Press the power button on the frother unit to cycle through the four modes. The indicator light will change to reflect the selected mode:
- Hot Dense Foam: For thick, creamy hot foam.
- Hot Airy Foam: For light, airy hot foam.
- Cold Foam: For cold foam without heating.
- Warm Milk: For heating milk without frothing.
- Start Operation: Once the desired mode is selected, the frother will begin operation automatically.
- Completion: The frother will automatically shut off when the process is complete. Carefully remove the frother from the base and pour out the milk.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your milk frother, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Frother does not turn on. | Not properly plugged in; no power. | Ensure the power base is securely plugged into a working outlet. Check the frother unit is correctly seated on the power base. |
| Milk is not frothing or foam is insufficient. | Incorrect whisk used; milk type/temperature; milk level too high/low. | Ensure the frothing whisk (with coil) is used. Use cold, fresh milk (dairy milk generally froths best). Do not exceed the MAX frothing line. |
| Milk is not heating. | Incorrect whisk used; cold foam mode selected. | Ensure the heating whisk (without coil) is used for warm milk, or the frothing whisk for hot foam. Verify that a hot mode (Hot Dense Foam, Hot Airy Foam, Warm Milk) is selected. |
| Frother stops prematurely. | Overheating protection activated; milk level too low. | Allow the frother to cool down. Ensure milk is above the MIN fill line. |
