7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your Topping E30II, please refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:
7.1 Device Cannot Be Turned On
- Check the power connection.
- Try using another DC5V power adapter.
- Try using another power cable.
7.2 No Sound Output
- Ensure the device is powered on.
- Verify that the proper input source is selected by pressing the touch button on the front panel.
- Check all cable connections, ensuring they are fully inserted.
- Check the volume level on all connected devices and ensure they are not muted.
- If using USB IN, ensure the volume on your PC, music player, and driver is not too low. Select the E30II as the default output device.
7.3 Noisy Playback
- Try different audio tracks.
- Ensure the specifications of the songs are supported by the E30II.
- If noise occurs only with DSD files, adjust computer system volume, music player volume, and driver volume to maximum.
- Check for interference from the source or cables. Consider using a USB isolation device.
7.4 Remote Control Not Responding
- Enable remote control function in the setup menu (refer to the full user manual for detailed steps).
- Insert two fresh AAA batteries into the remote.
- Aim the remote directly at the remote control receiver on the E30II.
- Bring the remote closer to the device.
- Use your phone's camera to check if the IR transmitter at the top of the remote blinks when a button is pressed. If not, the remote may be defective.
- If you own multiple Topping devices, ensure you are using the correct remote control.
