5. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your toaster, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Bread not toasting or toasting too lightly. | Browning level set too low; toaster coils weakening over time. | Increase the browning level. If coils appear weak after extended use, consider contacting customer support. |
| Bread is burnt. | Browning level set too high; toasting a single slice on a high setting. | Decrease the browning level. When toasting only one slice, select a lower gear (1 or 2). |
| Uneven toasting. | Inconsistent bread thickness; toasting only one slice when designed for two. | Ensure bread slices are of similar thickness. For best results, toast two slices at a time. If toasting one, use a lower setting. |
| Toaster does not power on. | Not properly plugged in; power outlet issue. | Check if the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. Try a different outlet. |
| Lever does not stay down. | Toaster is not plugged in; internal mechanism issue. | Ensure the toaster is plugged in. If the issue persists, contact customer support. |
Note: It is normal for the outside surface to become hot during operation. Avoid touching hot surfaces directly; use handles or knobs.
