2. Safety Precautions

5. Setup
5.1 Unpacking and Assembly
- Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Lift the food tank from the base by aligning with the notch and pulling upwards.
- Remove the food tray and accessories from the packaging.
- Insert the desiccant bag into its designated compartment under the lid.
- Attach the food tray and place the stainless steel bowl into it.
5.2 Power Supply
- AC Power: Connect the 5V AC adapter to the power port on the back of the feeder and plug it into a wall outlet.
- Battery Backup: For power outages, install 3 D-cell alkaline batteries (not included) into the battery compartment at the bottom of the unit. The feeder will automatically switch to battery power if AC power is lost.

5.3 Filling the Food Tank
- Open the twist-lock lid on top of the feeder.
- Pour dry pet food into the tank. Ensure the kibble size is between 2-15mm to prevent clogging.
- Securely close the twist-lock lid to maintain food freshness.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Setting the Current Time
- Press and hold the Lock button for 3 seconds to unlock the control panel.
- Press the Settings button. The hour display will flash.
- Use the + or - buttons to adjust the hour. Press Settings again to confirm.
- The minute display will flash. Use the + or - buttons to adjust the minutes. Press Settings again to save the current time.
6.2 Setting Meal Times and Portions
The feeder allows up to 6 meals per day, with 1-50 portions per meal.
- Ensure the control panel is unlocked.
- Press the Settings button until the meal icon (1-6) you wish to set flashes.
- Press Settings again. The hour display for that meal will flash. Use + or - to set the hour, then press Settings.
- The minute display will flash. Use + or - to set the minutes, then press Settings.
- The portion display will flash. Use + or - to set the number of portions (1-50), then press Settings to save.
- Repeat for other meals as desired.

6.3 Recording a Meal Call (10-second voice message)
You can record a 10-second voice message to call your pet at meal times.
- Ensure the control panel is unlocked.
- Press and hold the Record button (microphone icon) until you hear a beep. Begin recording your message.
- Release the Record button when finished. A 'DiDi' sound confirms the recording is saved.

6.4 Setting Meal Call Playback Times
You can set how many times the recorded message plays for each meal.
- Ensure the control panel is unlocked.
- Press the Settings button until the meal icon (1-6) for which you want to set playback flashes.
- Press the Record button. The playback frequency (F-01, F-02, F-03) will flash.
- Use the + or - buttons to select the desired playback frequency (e.g., F-01 for once, F-03 for three times).
- Press Settings to save the setting.
6.5 Manual Feeding
To dispense food manually:
- Ensure the control panel is unlocked.
- Press the Manual Feed button (smiley face icon) once to dispense one portion.
- Press multiple times for additional portions.
6.6 Anti-Clogging Design
The feeder incorporates an infrared sensor at the food outlet to prevent overfilling and clogging. If the bowl is full, the feeder will automatically stop dispensing. The motor also has a self-protection function to prevent overheating or malfunction due to overload.

7. Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures hygiene and extends the life of your feeder.
- The food tank, stainless steel bowl, and food tray are detachable and washable. Wash them with water and mild detergent, then dry thoroughly before reassembly.
- The main unit (base with electronics) is NOT washable. Wipe it clean with a damp cloth, then dry with a dry cloth.

- Open the feeder lid.
- Remove the old desiccant bag from its compartment.

- Close the lid securely.
