Setup and Installation

The LUTEC Solar Porch Light is designed for easy, wiring-free installation. Before installation, ensure the solar panel receives at least 5 hours of direct sunlight for initial charging.

Installation Steps:

Choose Location: Select an outdoor location that receives ample direct sunlight throughout the day for optimal charging. Ensure the location is suitable for wall mounting.
Prepare Mounting Surface: Mark the desired mounting points on the wall.
Drill Holes: Use an appropriate drill bit to create holes at the marked points.
Insert Expansion Tubes: Insert the provided expansion tubes into the drilled holes.
Mount the Fixture: Align the light fixture with the expansion tubes and secure it using the provided mounting screws.
Activate: Ensure the ON/OFF switch (located on the fixture, typically near the solar panel or bulb) is set to the "ON" position.

Operating Instructions

The LUTEC Solar Porch Light operates automatically once installed and activated. It utilizes a built-in sensor to manage its lighting cycle.

Automatic Operation:

Daytime Charging: The integrated solar panel automatically charges the internal battery during daylight hours. For optimal performance, ensure the solar panel is clean and unobstructed.
Dusk to Dawn Sensor: The light is programmed to automatically turn on at dusk (when ambient light falls below approximately 30 lux) and turn off at dawn (when ambient light exceeds approximately 100 lux). This feature conserves energy and provides hands-free operation.
Illumination Duration: When fully charged, the light can illuminate for 8-10 hours. Actual lighting time may vary based on the intensity and duration of sunlight received during the day.
