Important Safety Instructions
Please read all instructions carefully before using your SHARP Electric Kettle. Keep this manual for future reference.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
- To protect against fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, do not immerse cord, plugs, or the kettle base in water or other liquid.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Contact customer support for assistance.
- The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
- Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to “off”, then remove plug from wall outlet.
- Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
- Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot water.
- Ensure the lid is securely closed before operating.
- Do not overfill the kettle beyond the maximum fill line to prevent boiling water from spilling.
- This kettle features Boil-Dry Protection and an Automatic Cut-Off feature for safety. If the kettle is switched on without sufficient water, it will automatically switch off.

Before First Use
Before using your new electric kettle for the first time, it is recommended to clean it.
- Fill the kettle with clean water up to the maximum fill line.
- Boil the water as described in the “Operating Instructions” section.
- Discard the boiled water.
- Repeat this process two to three times to ensure the kettle is thoroughly clean.
Operating Instructions
Filling the Kettle
- Remove the kettle from its power base.
- Press the lid release button to open the lid.
- Fill the kettle with the desired amount of fresh water. Do not fill below the minimum mark or above the maximum mark. The kettle has a 1.5-liter capacity.
- Close the lid firmly until it clicks into place.

Boiling Water
- Place the filled kettle securely onto its power base.
- Plug the power base into a suitable wall outlet (220-240V, 50Hz).
- Press the power switch down. The indicator light will illuminate, indicating that the kettle is heating.
- The kettle will automatically switch off once the water has boiled, and the indicator light will turn off.

Pouring Water
Carefully lift the kettle from its power base and pour the hot water. Always pour slowly and steadily to avoid splashing. The cool-touch handle ensures safe handling.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning will help maintain the performance and longevity of your kettle.
Exterior Cleaning
- Always unplug the kettle and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may scratch the surface.
- Ensure the power base and electrical connections remain dry.
Interior Cleaning (Descaling)
Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may build up inside the kettle, especially in hard water areas. Descaling regularly will ensure efficient operation.
- Fill the kettle with a mixture of one part white vinegar and two parts water.
- Bring the mixture to a boil and then let it stand for at least 30 minutes, or longer for heavy scale.
- Pour out the mixture and rinse the kettle thoroughly with fresh water several times.
- For stubborn deposits, repeat the process or use a commercial descaling solution following its instructions.
