4. Maintenance and Care
4.1 Water Resistance
This watch is rated for 30M (3ATM) water resistance, meaning it is suitable for daily use, hand washing, splashes, and brief immersion in water. It is not recommended for swimming, diving, or hot water activities like showering or sauna, as steam and hot water can damage the seals.

Figure 4: Water resistance guidelines for the watch.
- Do not press any buttons while the watch is submerged in water.
- Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperatures (hot or cold).
- After exposure to saltwater, rinse the watch with fresh water and dry it thoroughly.
4.2 Cleaning
Wipe the watch case and strap with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, which can damage the watch's finish or seals.
4.3 Battery Replacement
When the display becomes dim or stops functioning, the battery may need replacement. Battery replacement should ideally be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and water resistance.
5. Troubleshooting
- Display is blank or dim: The battery may be low or depleted. Replace the battery.
- Time is incorrect: Re-set the time following the instructions in Section 2.1. Ensure the correct 12/24 hour format is selected.
- Alarm does not sound: Ensure the alarm is turned ON (alarm icon visible). Check if the alarm time is set correctly.
- Watch is not water resistant after battery change: Ensure the watch was properly sealed after battery replacement. This often requires professional service.
- Buttons are unresponsive: Try pressing the buttons firmly. If still unresponsive, a full reset might be needed (consult a professional if no external reset button is available).
