3. Installation
Follow these steps for proper installation of your EMANER EMR-8020 floodlight. Ensure power is OFF at the circuit breaker before starting.
- Prepare the Junction Box: Use Screw B to fix the cross bar securely to the junction box.
- Attach Gasket: Stick the provided gasket to the aluminum cross bar to ensure a watertight seal.
- Wire Connections: Connect the wires according to standard electrical codes:
- Black wire (Live/L) from fixture to Black wire from power supply.
- White wire (Neutral/N) from fixture to White wire from power supply.
- Green wire (Ground) from fixture to the ground wire from power supply.
- Mount the Fixture: Use Screw C to fix the lamp body to the cross bar Screw A through the middle hole. Ensure the fixture is firmly attached to the wall surface.
- Seal the Fixture: Apply silicone caulking compound completely around where the back plate meets the wall surface. This prevents water intrusion and maintains the IP65 rating.
