It features an 8-inch LED ring light, a smartphone holder, and a dual-function stand that can be configured for both desktop and green screen studio setups. This manual provides instructions for assembly, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to help you maximize your creative potential.

Please ensure all the following components are present in your Studio Creator 2 package:

Setup Instructions

1. Assembling the Stand and Light

1. Unpack all components from the box.
2. Attach the main pole of the dual-function stand to its base by screwing it clockwise until secure.
3. Mount the 8-inch LED ring light onto the top of the stand's adjustable arm. Ensure it is firmly attached.
4. Insert the smartphone holder into the designated slot within the ring light. Adjust its position to securely hold your smartphone.

2. Power Connection

Connect the USB power cord from the ring light to a compatible USB power source (e.g., a USB wall adapter, computer USB port, or power bank). The ring light will not function without a power source.

Operating Modes

The Studio Creator 2 offers two primary configurations for different creative needs:

1. Desktop Studio Mode

This mode is ideal for capturing overhead shots of crafts, cooking, drawing, or small objects. The stand adjusts to a lower height, up to 18 inches, allowing the ring light to illuminate your workspace from above.

• Configuration: Adjust the dual-function stand to its lower, desktop position. The arm holding the ring light can be angled and rotated to position the light directly over your subject.
• Usage: Place the wipe-clean mat or one of the four provided backgrounds on your desktop. Position your items on the mat/background directly under the ring light. Insert your smartphone into the holder to record or photograph.

2. Green Screen Studio Mode

This mode is perfect for creating videos with custom backgrounds using green screen technology. The stand extends to an upright position, up to 35 inches, for full-body or portrait shots.

• Configuration: Extend the dual-function stand to its full upright height. Position the green screen behind your subject.
• Usage: Stand or sit in front of the green screen. Ensure the ring light illuminates you evenly. Use your smartphone in the holder to record. Post-production software or apps can then replace the green background with any image or video.

3. Light Control

The inline controller on the USB power cord allows you to manage the ring light's settings:

• Power Button: Press to turn the light on or off.
• Brightness Adjustment: Use the '+' and '-' buttons to cycle through 10 brightness levels.
• Mode Button: Press to switch between 12 light modes: 3 white light modes (White, Warm, Natural) and 9 vibrant color light modes.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: The wipe-clean mat can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth. For the ring light and stand, use a soft, dry cloth to wipe away dust. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or excessive moisture.
• Storage: When not in use, disassemble the stand and store all components in their original packaging or a suitable storage container to protect them from dust and damage.

Troubleshooting

• Light Not Turning On: Ensure the USB power cord is securely connected to both the ring light and a functioning USB power source. Try a different USB port or power adapter.
• Smartphone Not Fitting: The smartphone holder is designed to fit most standard smartphones. Ensure your phone is inserted correctly and not obstructed by a bulky case.
• Stand Instability: Ensure all screw connections on the stand are tightened. Place the stand on a flat, stable surface.
• Poor Green Screen Effect: Ensure the green screen is smooth and free of wrinkles. Provide even lighting on the green screen to avoid shadows, which can interfere with chroma keying.
