Operating Instructions
The Ninja AF080 Mini Air Fryer is designed for simple operation with a fixed temperature and a quick-set timer.
Preheating
While the AF080 operates at a consistent 400°F, preheating is recommended for best results, especially for foods that benefit from immediate high heat. To preheat, simply set the timer for 3-5 minutes with the empty basket inserted.
Cooking Your Food
- Prepare Food: Place your ingredients into the cooking basket. Do not overfill the basket to ensure even cooking and crisping. The 2-quart capacity can hold up to 1 lb of French fries, 10 taquitos, or 2 hot pockets.
- Insert Basket: Slide the cooking basket firmly into the main unit.
- Set Timer: Turn the timer dial clockwise to your desired cooking time, ranging from 1 to 60 minutes. The air fryer will automatically begin cooking once the timer is set.
- Monitor Cooking: For best results, shake or flip food halfway through the cooking cycle, especially for items like fries or wings, to ensure even browning.
- Completion: The air fryer will automatically shut off and alert you when the set time has elapsed. Carefully pull out the cooking basket using the handle.
- Serve: Remove cooked food from the basket. Use silicone-tipped tongs or utensils to avoid scratching the nonstick coating.
