3. Setup and First Use
Unpacking
- Remove all packaging materials from the kettle and its components.
- Inspect the appliance for any damage. Do not use if damaged.
Initial Cleaning
Before first use, or if the kettle has been stored for a long period, perform the following cleaning steps:
- Fill the kettle with clean water up to the MAX level.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Boiling Water (Full Kettle Mode)
- Fill the Kettle: Open the lid and fill the kettle with the desired amount of fresh water. Do not fill below the MIN mark or above the MAX (1.5L) mark on the water level indicator.
- Close the Lid: Ensure the lid is securely closed.
- Place on Base: Place the kettle firmly onto its power base.
- Activate Boiling: Press the main power button located on the top of the kettle. The indicator light will illuminate, signifying that the kettle is heating.
- Automatic Shut-off: The kettle will automatically switch off once the water has boiled. The indicator light will turn off.

4.2. Single-Cup Dispensing (Dual Flo Mode)
This feature allows you to boil and dispense a single cup of hot water quickly and efficiently.
- Fill the Kettle: Ensure the kettle contains sufficient water for the desired cup volume.
- Place Cup: Position your cup or mug on the drip tray directly beneath the single-cup dispenser spout.
- Select Volume: Rotate the volume selector dial on the top of the kettle to choose your desired cup size: 150 ml, 200 ml, or 250 ml.
- Dispense Water: Push the dispenser lever located on the front of the kettle downwards. The kettle will rapidly heat and dispense the selected volume of hot water directly into your cup.
- Completion: The dispensing process will stop automatically once the selected volume has been delivered. The first cup is typically dispensed in under 60 seconds.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and maintenance will prolong the life of your LAICA Dual Flo Electric Kettle.
General Cleaning
- Unplug: Always unplug the kettle from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as these can damage the surface.
- Interior: Rinse the interior of the kettle with clean water. Do not use detergents inside the kettle.
