2. Setup and Assembly

Before operating your ash vacuum cleaner, ensure all components are correctly assembled and secured. Follow these steps for proper setup.

Assembly Steps:

2. Install Filters: Place the flame retardant ash filter into the metal tank, followed by the cartridge filter. Ensure they are seated correctly for optimal filtration.
3. Secure Lid: Place the sealed vacuum lid onto the metal tank. Secure it firmly using the lid latches on the sides of the unit.
4. Attach Hose: Connect the metal hose to the vacuum port on the side of the unit. Ensure the connection is secure to prevent loss of suction.

Important Safety Warning:

The INNO STAGE ash vacuum cleaner is designed to handle COLD ASH ONLY. The ash temperature must be below 40°C (104°F). Do not vacuum hot ash, burning firewood, or unburned logs. Do not absorb wet ash or wet garbage.

Vacuum Function:

1. Ensure the hose is connected to the vacuum intake port.
2. Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
3. Press the ON/OFF switch to turn on the vacuum.
4. Use the appropriate nozzle (round for heavy dust/wood chips/small debris, flat for corner dust) to clean cold ash from fireplaces, pellet stoves, fire pits, or BBQ grills.
5. After use, press the ON/OFF switch to turn off the vacuum and unplug it from the power outlet.

Blower Function:

1. To use as a blower, disconnect the hose from the vacuum intake port.
2. Connect the hose to the air outlet port, typically located on the top or side of the motor unit.
3. Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
4. Press the ON/OFF switch to activate the blower.
5. Direct the airflow to clear debris from your yard or workspace.
6. After use, press the ON/OFF switch to turn off the unit and unplug it.

Temperature Control Function:

The ash vacuum is equipped with an overheating protection function. If the internal temperature exceeds 105°C (221°F), the machine will automatically stop to prevent damage.

• If the vacuum stops unexpectedly, unplug the power plug immediately.
• Wait for the temperature to drop to normal levels.
• Once cooled, you can plug it back in and resume operation.

4. Maintenance

Filter System:

Your vacuum features a double-stage filtration system, including a cartridge filter and a flame retardant ash filter. These filters are designed to be reusable after washing.

How to Clean the Filter:

It is recommended to clean the filter after each use to maintain effective dust removal and suction power.

1. Unplug the vacuum cleaner from the power outlet.
2. Unlatch and remove the sealed vacuum lid.
3. Carefully remove the cartridge filter and the flame retardant ash filter.
4. Gently tap the filters to dislodge loose ash and debris.
5. Rinse the filters under running water until clean. Ensure all ash is removed.
6. Allow the filters to air dry completely before reassembling them into the vacuum. Do not use the vacuum with wet filters.

A: No. You should only handle cold ash below 40°C (104°F).

Q: Suddenly there is no suction power during use, is it broken?

A: First, check if there are particles of carbon blocking the tube. Clean the tube. Second, check if the filter is blocked. Clean the filter as described in the Maintenance section.

Q: Suddenly stopped working the first time I used it?

A: Our ash vacuum has an overheating protection function. If the ash temperature is too high or the motor overheats, it will automatically stop working. Unplug the unit and wait for it to cool down before restarting. We suggest absorption of cold ash below 40°C (104°F).

Q: Does the filter need to be replaced and how long can it be used?

A: The filter does not need to be replaced; it only needs to be cleaned regularly and can be used continuously.
