2. Safety Information

5. Setup

1. Power Connection: Connect the provided USB cable to the DC 5V Type-C input on the rear panel. Connect the other end to a dedicated DC 5V (≥1A) USB power adapter (not included). Avoid using computer USB ports or shared power supplies to prevent noise.
2. Audio Input:
   • For line-level audio sources (e.g., CD player, computer, phone), connect using either the stereo RCA or 3.5mm AUX input.
   • For microphone pickup, ensure the Mode knob is set to MIC.

   Important: Do not connect RCA and 3.5mm AUX inputs simultaneously.
3. Audio Output: Connect the stereo RCA or 3.5mm AUX output to your amplifier, active speakers, or other audio receiving device.
4. Placement: Place the VU22 on a stable, flat surface. Attach the included rubber feet to the bottom of the unit to prevent slipping and protect surfaces.
