3. Operation
3.1 Powering On/Off
To power on the monitor, press the power button located on the back of the monitor, typically on the right side when viewed from the front. Press it again to power off. The power LED indicator will illuminate when the monitor is on.

3.2 Adjusting the Monitor
The Dell P3223QE monitor offers ergonomic adjustments for optimal viewing comfort:
- Height Adjustment: Gently push or pull the monitor up or down along the stand riser to adjust its height.
- Tilt Adjustment: Hold the top and bottom edges of the monitor and gently tilt the screen forward or backward.
- Swivel Adjustment: Rotate the monitor left or right on its base.
- Pivot Adjustment: Rotate the monitor 90 degrees clockwise or counter-clockwise to switch between landscape and portrait orientation. Ensure sufficient clearance before pivoting.

3.3 Using the On-Screen Display (OSD) Menu
The OSD menu allows you to configure various monitor settings. Access the OSD menu by pressing the joystick control button on the back of the monitor. Navigate through the menu options using the joystick (up, down, left, right) and press to select.
Common OSD settings include:
- Brightness/Contrast: Adjust image luminance.
- Input Source: Manually select the video input (DisplayPort, HDMI, USB-C).
- Color Settings: Adjust color temperature, gamma, and preset modes.
- Display Settings: Adjust aspect ratio, sharpness, and response time.
- Menu Settings: Configure OSD language, transparency, and timeout.
