Setup and Power Supply
The AMIR Digital Alarm Clock offers two power supply options:
- USB Power Supply: When powered by USB (cable included, AC adapter not included), the screen will always remain on. This is the recommended mode for continuous display.
- AAA Battery Power: When powered by 3 AAA batteries (not included), the screen will turn off after 10 seconds to enter power-saving mode. In this mode, the clock retains previous time settings even after a power outage, thanks to its memory function.
Ensure batteries are installed correctly, observing positive and negative terminals, if using battery power.

Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your AMIR Digital Alarm Clock:
- Clean the display and casing with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Keep the clock away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity.
- If using batteries, replace them when the display becomes dim or unresponsive. Remove batteries if the clock will not be used for an extended period.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause / Solution |
|---|---|
| Clock display does not light up or is unresponsive. |
|
| Screen turns off after 10 seconds. | This is normal behavior when the clock is powered by batteries to conserve energy (power saving mode). If you prefer the screen to always be on, use the USB power supply. |
| Time settings are lost after power off. | The time memory function works when powered by AAA batteries. If powered by USB alone, there is no time memory function after power off. Ensure batteries are installed for memory retention. |
| Display is too bright at night. | Adjust the brightness levels using the "UP" or "DOWN" buttons. Activate Night Mode (see Operating Instructions) for automatic dimming during set hours. You can also turn off the display completely by long-pressing the "SNOOZE" button for more than 3 seconds. |
