Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
  2. Placement: Place the ice maker on a flat, stable surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
  3. Clean Before First Use: Before first use, clean the interior of the ice maker as described in the "Maintenance and Cleaning" section.
  4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet (220 Volts).

Operating Instructions

  1. Add Water: Open the lid and fill the water reservoir with clean, potable water up to the MAX fill line. Do not overfill.
  2. Start Production: Close the lid and press the "ON/OFF" button on the control panel. The "ICE MAKING" indicator light will illuminate.
  3. Monitor Progress: The ice maker will begin producing ice cubes. You can observe the process through the transparent lid. The first batch of ice may take slightly longer and the cubes might be smaller or irregular. This is normal.
  4. Ice Full Indicator: When the ice basket is full, the "ICE FULL" indicator light will turn on, and the machine will automatically stop ice production. Remove ice from the basket to resume production.
  5. Add Water Indicator: If the water level is too low, the "ADD WATER" indicator light will turn on, and the machine will stop. Add more water to the reservoir to continue.
  6. Stop Production: To stop the ice maker at any time, press the "ON/OFF" button again.

Note: The ice maker is not a freezer. Ice cubes will gradually melt if left in the basket for extended periods. Transfer ice to a freezer for long-term storage.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and hygiene of your ice maker.

Daily Cleaning:

  • After each use, unplug the unit.
  • Remove the ice basket.
  • Drain any remaining water from the reservoir using the drain plug at the bottom of the unit.
  • Wipe the interior with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
  • Dry all surfaces before closing the lid.

Monthly Cleaning (or as needed):

  • Prepare a solution of water and white vinegar (10:1 ratio) or a dedicated ice maker cleaning solution.
  • Pour the solution into the water reservoir.
  • Run the ice maker for a few cycles (without consuming the ice).
  • Drain the solution completely.
  • Rinse the reservoir and interior thoroughly with clean water multiple times to remove any residue or odor.
  • Wipe down the exterior with a damp cloth.

Important: Always unplug the ice maker before cleaning. Do not immerse the unit in water.
