Operating Instructions

This section details how to use your Toyomi Smart Diet Rice Cooker for various cooking functions.

General Cooking Steps:

  1. Measure the desired amount of rice using the provided measuring cup.
  2. Rinse the rice thoroughly under cold water until the water runs clear.
  3. Place the rinsed rice into the heavy-duty stainless steel pot.
  4. Add the appropriate amount of water according to the rice type and desired consistency. Refer to the water level markings inside the pot or a standard rice-to-water ratio (e.g., 1 cup rice to 1.5-2 cups water for white rice).
  5. Close the lid securely.
  6. Plug in the rice cooker.

  6. Close the lid.

Other Functions (Porridge, Soup, Stew, Steam, Dessert, Cake):

For these functions, prepare ingredients as per your recipe and place them in the heavy-duty stainless steel pot. Select the corresponding function using the Menu button. The cooker will automatically adjust cooking time and temperature. Some functions may allow manual time adjustment using the Hour and Min buttons before starting.

Preset Timer Function (72 Hours Delay):

The preset function allows you to delay the start of cooking for up to 72 hours.

  1. Prepare your ingredients in the inner pot.
  2. Close the lid.
  3. Select your desired cooking function using the Menu button.
  4. Press the Preset button. The display will show a default delay time.
  5. Use the Hour and Min buttons to adjust the desired delay time.
  6. Once the time is set, the cooker will start counting down. Cooking will begin automatically after the delay period.

Maintenance and Cleaning
