  3. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, remove the water tank and drip tray. Wash them with mild detergent and rinse thoroughly with clean water. Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
  4. Filter Installation:
    • Remove the new filter from its packaging.
    • Soak the filter in cold water for approximately 15 minutes to remove any air bubbles.
    • Insert the filter firmly into the designated slot within the water tank. Ensure it is securely seated.
  5. Fill Water Tank: Fill the removable water tank with cold tap water up to the MAX fill line. Do not overfill. Place the filled water tank back onto the main unit, ensuring it is properly seated.
  6. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. The appliance will emit a beep, and indicator lights may flash.
  7. First Flush: For the first use, it is recommended to dispense at least 2-3 full tanks of water at the highest temperature (100°C) to flush out any manufacturing residues and activate the filter. Discard this water.

Care and Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance will prolong the life of your water dispenser and ensure optimal performance.

  • Unplug Before Cleaning: Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet before cleaning.
  • Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the dispenser with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Water Tank Cleaning: Remove the water tank and wash it with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry before reattaching. Clean regularly, especially if you notice any residue.
  • Drip Tray Cleaning: The drip tray is detachable. Empty and clean it regularly with warm, soapy water to prevent water overflow and bacterial growth.
  • Filter Replacement: The 4-stage filter needs regular replacement to maintain water quality. The frequency depends on water usage and local water hardness. Refer to the filter packaging for specific replacement intervals, typically every 1-2 months.
    • Remove the old filter from the water tank.
    • Dispose of the old filter responsibly.
    • Install a new filter as described in the "Setup and First Use" section.
  • Descaling: Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) can build up inside the heating elements, especially in hard water areas.
    • Mix a descaling solution (e.g., white vinegar or citric acid solution) with water according to the descaler's instructions.
    • Pour the solution into the water tank.
    • Run the dispenser at the highest temperature setting until the tank is empty. Repeat with clean water 2-3 times to rinse thoroughly.
    • Perform descaling every 1-3 months, depending on water hardness.
