1. Safety Information

1.1 General Safety

1. Position the cord reel against the desired mounting surface (wall or ceiling). The single 6" L-shaped arm has 1/2" drilled holes for anchoring.
2. Mark the locations for the mounting hardware through the pre-drilled holes in the steel mount base.
3. Drill pilot holes appropriate for your chosen mounting hardware (not included). Ensure the drill bit size matches the hardware for a secure fit.
4. Secure the cord reel to the surface using heavy-duty bolts or lag screws (recommended). Ensure all fasteners are tightened securely.
5. Once mounted, gently pull out a short length of cord to test the stability of the installation.

4. Operation

4.1 Extending the Cord

1. Grasp the triple tap connector firmly.
2. Slowly pull the cord outwards from the reel. You will hear a clicking sound as the internal ratcheting mechanism engages.
3. To lock the cord at a desired length, stop pulling when you hear a click. The cord will remain extended at that position.
4. If you pull past a desired lock point, simply pull slightly further until the next click, then allow the cord to retract slightly until it locks.

4.2 Retracting the Cord

1. Ensure all devices are unplugged from the triple tap connector.
2. Grasp the triple tap connector and pull the cord gently but firmly outwards, just enough to disengage the ratcheting lock. You will hear a distinct click as it unlocks.
3. Slowly guide the cord back into the reel. Do not release the cord abruptly, as this can cause the cord to whip and potentially damage the reel or cause injury.
4. Allow the auto-rewind mechanism to smoothly retract the cord until the adjustable cable stopper rests against the reel housing.

4.3 Using the Outlets

• Plug the main power cord of the reel into a grounded 125V AC outlet.
• Plug your tools or appliances into the triple tap connector.
• Ensure the total wattage of all connected devices does not exceed 1625 Watts (13 Amps).
• If the circuit breaker trips, unplug all devices, press the reset button on the reel, and then reconnect devices ensuring the load is within limits.
