  • Powerful 700W Macerator Pump: Equipped with a strong electric motor and stainless steel non-clog blades for effective waste grinding.
  • Low Noise Operation: Engineered for reduced operational sound during flushing.
  • Water-Efficient: Utilizes 1.6 Gallons Per Flush (GPF) for water conservation.
  • Integrated System: Package includes the toilet bowl, tank, and macerator pump for a complete solution.
  • Multiple Inlets: Features 4 water inlets, allowing connection to a toilet, sink, urinal, hand basin, or bath.
  • High Pumping Capacity: Capable of pumping waste up to 328 feet horizontally or 29.5 feet vertically.

Setup and Installation

The HOCANFLO Macerating Toilet System is designed for straightforward installation without the need for extensive floor breaking or complex plumbing modifications. Follow these guidelines for proper setup.

General Installation Notes:

  • The water supply line can be connected to either the left or right side of the unit.
  • The supply line connection diameter may be smaller than standard US toilet connections; a supply line designed for faucets may be required.
  • The lower shower drain connections on both the left and right sides are designed for 1.25-inch PVC piping, not 1.5-inch.
  • The vent connection requires 1.25-inch PVC piping, not 1.5-inch.

Deodorization Options:

The system offers two methods for deodorization:

  1. Activated Carbon Deodorization: Place the activated carbon packet into the designated compartment on the pump.
  2. Ventilation Duct Deodorization: Connect a vent pipe to the designated outlet on the pump. If the vent pipe connection is covered, use a 1-1/2 inch blade to cut the 40mm section for connection.

Operating Instructions

The HOCANFLO Macerating Toilet System operates automatically upon flushing, grinding waste and pumping it to the drainage system.

Flushing Operation:

  • The system features automatic waste detection.
  • Utilizes a dual-flush mechanism for water efficiency: 0.8 GPF for liquid waste and 1.28 GPF for solid waste.
  • The "Super Siphon, Strong Flushing" design ensures effective waste removal and prevents blockages.
  • After flushing, the macerator pump will activate to process and discharge the waste.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your HOCANFLO Macerating Toilet System.

Cleaning:

  • The porcelain material and nano glaze finish make the toilet easy to clean and maintain hygiene.
  • Use standard non-abrasive toilet cleaners. Avoid harsh chemicals that could damage the finish or internal components.
  • Regularly clean the toilet bowl and exterior surfaces.

Macerator Pump Care:

  • Avoid flushing non-biodegradable items such as wipes, feminine hygiene products, or excessive paper, as these can cause blockages or damage the macerator blades.
  • If using activated carbon for deodorization, replace the packet periodically as needed.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your HOCANFLO Macerating Toilet System, refer to the following common problems and solutions.

Common Issues:

  • Pump Not Activating or Loud Humming:
    • Check if the unit is properly plugged into a power outlet.
    • Ensure there are no foreign objects obstructing the macerator blades. Disconnect power before inspecting.
    • Verify that the water level in the toilet bowl is not excessively high, which might indicate a blockage in the discharge line.
  • Water Not Pumping Out:
    • Confirm the power supply to the unit.
    • Inspect the discharge pipe for kinks or blockages.
    • Check the check valve for proper operation and ensure it is not stuck.
  • Excessive Noise During Operation:
    • While the unit is designed for low noise, unusual or excessive noise may indicate an obstruction in the macerator. Disconnect power and inspect.
    • Ensure the unit is securely installed and not vibrating against other surfaces.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, please contact HOCANFLO customer support for further assistance.
