Introduction

The TOAUTO WMF-5L Wax Melter is designed for efficient and convenient candle making. This appliance features a 5-quart capacity, rapid wax melting capabilities, precise temperature control, and a specialized pouring spout to prevent clogging, ensuring a smooth and clean operation. It is suitable for various wax types, including soy, beeswax, paraffin, and coconut wax.

Safety Instructions

• Always operate the wax melter on a stable, heat-resistant surface.

• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use heat-resistant gloves when handling the melter or hot wax.

• Never leave the appliance unattended while in operation.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
• Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet when not in use, before cleaning, or before adding/removing parts.
• In case of a clogged spout, refer to the troubleshooting section. Always place a container under the spout to prevent burns from unexpected wax flow.
• Use only waxes suitable for melting in this appliance.

Setup

1. Unpack all components and remove any packaging materials.
2. Place the wax melter on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit.
3. Before first use, wipe the interior of the melting pot with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
4. Ensure the pouring spout is securely closed before adding wax.

Operating Instructions

Melting Wax

1. Add your desired wax (soy, beeswax, paraffin, coconut, etc.) into the melting pot. The melter can hold up to 5.2 quarts (approx. 2 kg of soy wax).
2. Close the lid.
3. Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
4. Turn the temperature control dial to your desired setting. The temperature can be set from 86°F to 212°F (30°C to 100°C).
5. The melter will begin heating. A red light indicates heating, a yellow light indicates keeping warm (insulation), and a green light indicates standby.
6. Allow the wax to melt completely. Approximately 2 kg of soy wax can melt in about 15 minutes at 222°F (105.5°C).
7. Use the provided mixing spoon to stir the wax periodically to ensure even melting.

Pouring Wax

1. Once the wax is fully melted and at the desired temperature, place your candle containers or molds directly under the pouring spout.
2. Slowly open the pouring spout to release the melted wax. The spout is designed for easy and fast pouring.
3. Close the spout once the desired amount of wax has been dispensed.
4. Always ensure a container is placed under the spout during operation to catch any drips or accidental releases.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Wax Melter

1. Ensure the appliance is unplugged and completely cooled before cleaning.
2. Remove any remaining solid wax from the pot. You can gently scrape it out once cooled and hardened.
3. Wipe the interior and exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn wax residue, you may use a small amount of wax cleaner or a warm, damp cloth to soften the wax before wiping.
4. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as these can damage the surface.
5. Ensure all parts are thoroughly dry before storing or next use.

Troubleshooting

Clogged Pouring Spout

If the pouring spout becomes clogged with residual wax:

1. Ensure the melter is plugged in and turned on.
2. Set the temperature dial to 222°F (105.5°C).
3. Wait approximately 5 minutes. The heating core spout technology is designed to melt residual wax inside the spout.
4. The wax should then begin to flow again. Always have a container placed under the spout during this process to prevent burns.
