2. Important Safety Instructions

4. Product Overview

The Uthfy HY-60AI is a powerful evaporative air cooler designed for both indoor and outdoor use. It features a robust sheet metal body, a large 36-gallon water tank, and a three-sided cooling pad system for efficient cooling.

5. Setup

5.1. Wheel Assembly

  1. Carefully unbox the evaporative air cooler and place it on its side on a soft, protective surface to avoid scratching.
  2. Attach the four universal wheels to the designated slots on the bottom of the unit using the provided screws and screwdriver. Ensure the two wheels with brakes are positioned at the front for stability.
  3. Once all wheels are securely attached, carefully return the unit to an upright position.

5.2. Water Filling

The unit offers three methods for water filling:

  • Manual Water Fill: Open the top lid and pour water directly into the tank. The water level window on the front will indicate the current water level.
  • Continuous Water Fill: Attach a standard garden hose to the included waterpipe joint on the side of the unit. This allows for continuous water supply without manual refills.
  • Adding Ice Packs: For enhanced cooling, place the complimentary ice packs (after freezing) into the water tank. This helps to lower the water temperature and produce colder air.

Ensure the water level does not exceed the maximum fill line indicated on the water level window.

6. Operation

The Uthfy HY-60AI Evaporative Air Cooler features simple button controls for ease of use.

6.1. Control Panel

The control panel consists of four independent round buttons:

  • Power Button: Controls the fan's on/off state.
  • Fan Speed Button: Cycles through three fan speeds: Low, Medium, and High.
  • Cooling Button: Activates or deactivates the water pump for evaporative cooling.
  • Oscillation Button: Controls the automatic side-to-side oscillation of the air outlet.

6.2. Adjusting Airflow Direction

  • Horizontal Oscillation: Press the Oscillation button on the control panel for automatic side-to-side airflow distribution.
  • Vertical Adjustment: The vertical louvers can be manually adjusted to direct airflow up or down as desired.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your evaporative air cooler.

7.1. Cleaning the Water Tank

  1. Unplug the unit from the power outlet.
  2. Locate the drainage port at the bottom of the unit.
  3. Open the drainage port to empty any residual water from the tank.
  4. Clean the inside of the tank with a soft cloth and mild detergent if necessary. Rinse thoroughly.
  5. Close the drainage port securely before refilling the tank.

7.2. Cleaning Dust Gauzes and Cooling Pads

The unit is equipped with dust gauzes on the back and sides to keep the interior clean and ensure cleaner air output.

  • Periodically remove the dust gauzes and clean them with water or a soft brush to remove accumulated dust.
  • Inspect the 3-side rigid high-density cooling pads for any mineral buildup. If necessary, gently rinse them with water. Do not use harsh chemicals.
  • Ensure all components are dry before reassembling and operating the unit.

8. Troubleshooting
