3. Maintenance

3.1 Cleaning

  • Wipe the headset with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Ensure all ports are dry before charging or connecting accessories.

3.2 Storage

  • Store the headset in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  • Avoid placing heavy objects on the headset.
  • If storing for an extended period, ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%) to preserve battery health.

3.3 Battery Care

  • Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
  • Charge the headset regularly, even if not in constant use.
  • Do not expose the battery to extreme temperatures.

4. Troubleshooting

4.1 No Audio

  • Ensure the headset is powered on and properly connected (either via USB adapter or Bluetooth).
  • Check the headset's volume controls and ensure they are not muted or set too low.
  • Verify that the correct audio output device is selected on your console or PC.
  • If using the USB adapter, ensure the PC/XBOX switch is set correctly.

4.2 Microphone Issues

  • Ensure the boom mic is securely attached, or if detached, that the built-in mic is active.
  • Check that the microphone is not muted (LED on boom mic should be off when unmuted).
  • Verify microphone input settings on your console or PC.
  • If mic monitoring is enabled, ensure it is not causing feedback issues.

4.3 Connectivity Problems

  • Wireless USB Adapter: Try unplugging and re-plugging the adapter. Ensure the PC/XBOX switch is in the correct position. Re-pair the headset by powering it off, then holding the power button until it enters pairing mode, and ensure the adapter is also in pairing mode (if applicable, refer to adapter instructions).
  • Bluetooth: Forget the device on your Bluetooth settings and attempt to re-pair. Ensure the headset is in Bluetooth pairing mode.
  • Move closer to the adapter or Bluetooth device to rule out range issues.

4.4 Battery Not Charging

  • Ensure the USB-C charging cable is securely connected to both the headset and the power source.
  • Try a different USB-C cable or a different USB power source.
