Setup
1. Unpacking and Inspection
Carefully remove the generator from its packaging. Inspect for any damage during shipping. Report any damage to your dealer immediately.
2. Placement
Place the generator on a firm, level surface. Ensure adequate ventilation and keep it at least 3 feet (1 meter) away from buildings or other equipment. Never operate indoors or in enclosed areas due to carbon monoxide risk.
3. Add Engine Oil
Your generator is shipped without engine oil. Fill with the recommended oil type (refer to specifications) to the upper limit mark on the dipstick. Do not overfill.
4. Add Fuel
Use fresh, unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 86 or higher. Fill the fuel tank carefully, avoiding spills. Do not fill above the upper limit line. Ensure the fuel cap is securely tightened.

Operating Instructions
1. Starting the Engine
- Ensure the generator is on a level surface.
- Turn the engine switch to the "ON" position.
- If equipped, pull the recoil starter handle firmly until the engine starts.
- Allow the engine to warm up for a few minutes before connecting electrical loads.
2. Connecting Electrical Loads
Plug your appliances into the AC outlets. Do not exceed the generator's rated output. The Honda Inverter Technology provides clean, stable power suitable for sensitive electronics.
3. Eco Throttle Operation
The Eco Throttle system automatically adjusts engine speed to match the load, improving fuel efficiency and reducing noise. To activate, ensure the Eco Throttle switch is in the "ON" position.

4. CO-MINDER System
The integrated CO-MINDER system monitors carbon monoxide levels. If unsafe levels are detected, the generator will automatically shut down. Move the generator to an open, well-ventilated area if this occurs.
5. Using the Bluetooth App
The Honda EU3200i features Bluetooth connectivity. Download the official Honda My Generator app to monitor fuel levels, output, engine hours, and remotely stop the generator from your smartphone.

1. Engine Oil Check and Change
Check the engine oil level before each use. Change the engine oil after the first 20 hours of operation, and then every 100 hours or every 6 months, whichever comes first.
2. Air Filter Cleaning
Clean the air filter every 50 hours or every 3 months, or more frequently in dusty conditions. A dirty air filter can reduce engine performance and increase fuel consumption.
3. Spark Plug Inspection
Inspect the spark plug every 100 hours or every 6 months. Clean or replace if necessary to ensure reliable starting and efficient engine operation.
4. Fuel System Maintenance
If storing the generator for an extended period, drain the fuel tank and carburetor, or use a fuel stabilizer to prevent fuel degradation and gumming.
Troubleshooting
- Engine will not start: Check fuel level, engine oil level, spark plug condition, and ensure the engine switch is ON.
- No power output: Check if circuit protectors have tripped. Reset if necessary. Ensure the generator is not overloaded.
- Engine stops unexpectedly: Low oil shutdown (Oil Alert), CO-MINDER activation, or lack of fuel. Address the cause before restarting.
- Overload indicator lit: Reduce the electrical load connected to the generator. If the light remains on, disconnect all loads and restart.
