Setup and Installation
Proper installation ensures optimal performance and comfort.
1. Choose Mounting Method
The H3 intercom can be installed using either the clip-on bracket or the adhesive Velcro base.
- Clip-on Bracket: Slide the bracket onto the edge of your helmet shell. Ensure it is securely fastened. This method is generally more secure and allows for easier removal.
- Velcro Mounting Base: Clean the desired mounting area on your helmet. Peel off the adhesive backing from the Velcro base and firmly press it onto the helmet. Allow sufficient time for the adhesive to cure before attaching the intercom unit.
2. Install Speakers and Microphone
Position the speakers inside the helmet's ear pockets. Ensure they are centered over your ears for the best audio experience. Route the microphone towards your mouth, ensuring it is close enough for clear voice pickup but does not obstruct your vision or comfort. Secure all wires within the helmet padding to prevent interference.
3. Charging the Device
Before first use, fully charge the H3 intercom. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the intercom unit and a compatible USB power source. The charging indicator light will show the charging status. A full charge provides approximately 30 hours of continuous use and 500 hours of standby time.

Maintenance
Proper care extends the life and performance of your H3 intercom.
- Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the intercom unit. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed before cleaning.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the device in a cool, dry place. It is recommended to charge the battery at least once every three months to maintain battery health.
- Water Resistance: The H3 is IP65 waterproof, meaning it is protected against dust and low-pressure water jets. While it can withstand rain, avoid submerging the device in water. Ensure all port covers are sealed during wet conditions.
- Battery Care: Do not expose the battery to extreme temperatures. Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently, as this can reduce its lifespan.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues, refer to the following common solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause / Solution |
|---|---|
| No power | Battery is discharged. Charge the device fully. |
| Cannot pair with phone | Ensure the H3 is in pairing mode (flashing red/blue). Check if Bluetooth is enabled on your phone. Try restarting both devices. |
| No sound or low volume | Check volume levels on both the H3 and your connected device. Ensure speakers are correctly positioned and connected. |
| Intercom connection unstable or short range | Ensure units are within the specified range (up to 2000m in open terrain, less in urban areas). Obstructions can reduce range. Re-pair units if necessary. |
