2. Setup
2.1 Initial Winding
As an automatic mechanical watch, it is powered by the natural movement of your arm and does not require a battery. For the first use, or if the watch has stopped, it must be fully wound manually. Rotate the crown clockwise approximately 20 laps to initiate power reserve. It is recommended to wear the watch for at least 10 hours a day to maintain accurate timekeeping. If not worn regularly, manually wind it at a fixed time daily.
2.2 Setting Time and Date
The watch features day and date functions. To set the time and date:
- Unscrew the Crown: Gently unscrew the crown (usually located at 3 o'clock) counter-clockwise until it pops out to the first position.
- Set the Date: Pull the crown out to the first click (Position 1). Rotate the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise to adjust the date.
- Set the Day: Rotate the crown in the opposite direction to adjust the day of the week.
- Set the Time: Pull the crown out to the second click (Position 2). Rotate the crown to set the hour and minute hands. Ensure to pass 12 o'clock to correctly set AM/PM for the date and day change. The date changes around midnight, and the day changes around 4 AM. If the AM/PM setting is incorrect, adjust the time by 12 hours.
- Secure the Crown: Once set, push the crown back in and screw it clockwise tightly to ensure water resistance.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Water Resistance (20ATM)
This BERNY watch boasts a 20ATM (200 meters) water resistance rating, making it suitable for daily wear, swimming, and even professional diving. Always ensure the crown is fully screwed in before any contact with water to maintain its water resistance integrity.

3.2 Super Luminous Display
The hour markers and hands are equipped with super luminous material, providing excellent readability in low-light conditions or complete darkness. Exposure to light charges the luminous elements.

3.3 Using the Countdown Bezel
The internal countdown bezel allows you to measure elapsed time or time remaining for an event. This feature is operated by the second crown, typically located at 2 o'clock.
- Align the Marker: Rotate the upper crown to align the triangle marker on the inner bezel with the current minute hand.
- Read Elapsed Time: As time passes, the minute hand will move away from the triangle marker. The number on the inner bezel that the minute hand points to indicates the elapsed time.

4. Maintenance
4.1 General Care
- Cleaning: Wipe the watch regularly with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and smudges. For the silicon strap, mild soap and water can be used, then rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Temperature: Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperatures (hot or cold) or sudden temperature changes, as this can affect the movement's accuracy and seals.
- Chemicals: Keep the watch away from chemicals, solvents, and detergents, which can damage the case, strap, or seals.
- Impact: While durable, avoid strong impacts or shocks to the watch, as this can damage the internal mechanical components.
4.2 Sapphire Glass
The watch features sapphire glass, known for its exceptional scratch resistance. While highly durable, it is not entirely impervious to damage and can chip or shatter under extreme impact.
4.3 Silicon Strap
The silicon watch strap is designed for comfort and deep water resistance. To prolong its life, avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and harsh chemicals.

5. Troubleshooting
5.1 Watch Not Keeping Accurate Time
- Insufficient Winding: Automatic watches require sufficient movement to maintain their power reserve. If the watch is not worn for at least 10 hours a day, or if your activity level is low, it may not be receiving enough winding. Manually wind the watch by rotating the crown clockwise about 20 times.
- Magnetism: Exposure to strong magnetic fields (e.g., from speakers, refrigerators, or certain electronic devices) can affect the watch's accuracy. If you suspect magnetism, consult a professional watchmaker for demagnetization.
5.2 Day/Date Not Changing Correctly
- AM/PM Setting: The day and date mechanisms are designed to change around midnight and 4 AM respectively. If the day or date changes at noon, it indicates that the watch is set to the incorrect AM/PM cycle. To correct this, advance the time by 12 hours.
- Quick Set Window: Avoid setting the date or day between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this is when the internal mechanisms are engaged in changing the date, and manual adjustment during this period can cause damage.
