- To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not immerse the food processor base in water or other liquid.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use, before assembling or disassembling parts, and before cleaning.
- Avoid contact with moving parts.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
- The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury.
- Do not use the appliance outdoors.
- Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter.
- Keep hands and utensils away from moving blades or discs while processing food to prevent the possibility of severe personal injury and/or damage to the food processor. A scraper may be used but must be used only when the food processor is not running.
- Blades are sharp. Handle carefully.

Setup and Assembly
Follow these steps to assemble your food processor before use:
- Place the food processor base on a clean, dry, and stable surface.
- Carefully place the 13-cup work bowl onto the base, aligning the handle with the right side of the base and twisting clockwise until it locks into place.
- Select the desired blade or disc for your task. For blades (multi-purpose or dough), place it onto the drive adapter in the center of the work bowl. For discs (slicing, shredding, dicing), place the drive adapter onto the center shaft, then carefully place the disc onto the drive adapter.
- Place the work bowl lid onto the work bowl, aligning the feed tube with the work bowl handle, and twist clockwise until it locks securely. The food processor will not operate unless the lid is properly locked.
- Insert the food pusher into the feed tube.
- Ensure the appliance is unplugged before assembly or disassembly.

Using the 3-in-1 Feed Tube
The 3-in-1 feed tube allows you to process various ingredient shapes and sizes. Use the appropriate opening and food pusher for optimal results. For larger items, use the wide opening. For smaller or longer items, use the narrower opening with the smaller food pusher.
Adjustable Slicing Disc
The externally adjustable Exact Slice disc allows you to easily change slicing thickness from thick to thin without removing the blade. Refer to the markings on the disc for desired thickness settings.
Dicing Kit
The dicing kit is designed for precise dicing of fruits and vegetables. Assemble the dicing grid and blade according to the instructions provided with the kit. Use the dedicated cleaning tool to remove any food particles from the dicing grid after use.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Proper cleaning and maintenance ensure the longevity and performance of your food processor.
- Always unplug the food processor before cleaning.
- Work Bowl, Lid, Blades, and Discs: All removable parts (work bowl, lid, multi-purpose blade, adjustable slicing disc, dicing kit, reversible shredding disc, dough blade, and storage caddy) are dishwasher safe. Place them on the top rack for best results. For hand washing, use warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive brush or sponge. Handle blades and discs with extreme care due to their sharpness.
- Food Processor Base: Wipe the base clean with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base in water or any other liquid.
- Dicing Kit Cleaning Tool: Use the provided cleaning tool to dislodge any food particles from the dicing grid.
Storage
The included storage caddy allows for convenient in-bowl storage of all blades and discs. This keeps accessories organized and protected. The refrigerator lid can be used to store processed ingredients directly in the work bowl.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your food processor, refer to the following common solutions:
- Appliance Does Not Turn On:
- Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a functional electrical outlet.
- Verify that the work bowl and lid are correctly assembled and locked into place. The food processor has safety interlocks that prevent operation if not properly assembled.
- Motor Stops During Operation:
- The food processor may have overheated due to prolonged use or processing very dense ingredients. Unplug the unit and allow it to cool down for at least 30 minutes before attempting to use it again.
- Check for any food jams around the blade or disc. Unplug the unit, carefully remove the obstruction, and then resume operation.
- Food Not Processing Evenly:
- Ensure ingredients are cut into appropriate sizes before placing them in the feed tube or work bowl.
- Do not overfill the work bowl. Process in smaller batches if necessary.
- Use the pulse function for better control over consistency.
