2. Safety Information
Always observe the following safety precautions to prevent injury and damage to the equipment.
- Ensure the chiller is connected to a properly grounded power outlet with the correct voltage (110V/60Hz).
- Do not operate the chiller with damaged power cords or plugs.
- Keep the chiller away from flammable materials, heat sources, and direct sunlight.
- Only use purified water, distilled water, or antifreeze glycol (volume ratio 50%) as the cooling medium. Do not use motor vehicle antifreeze, oil-based liquids, or liquids with pH values outside 6.5-7.5.
- Ensure adequate ventilation around the chiller to prevent overheating.
- Do not open the electrical connection box or attempt repairs unless you are a qualified professional. Charged parts are inside.
- Always turn off the power switch and unplug the unit before performing any maintenance or troubleshooting.
- Avoid direct contact with the refrigerant. In case of leakage, ventilate the area immediately.

Figure 3: Details of the built-in cooling fan, smart control panel, and industrial main switch.
The chiller features a built-in cooling fan for efficient heat dissipation, a smart control panel for easy temperature adjustment, and a robust industrial main switch for safe operation.

Figure 4: Details of the water pressure gauge, water tank inlet, and water inlet/outlet ports.
The water pressure gauge allows real-time monitoring of the system's pressure, while the water tank inlet and brass inlet/outlet ports ensure secure and corrosion-free connections.

Figure 5: Convenient casters, 4-gallon water tank, and water level gauge.
Equipped with four high-quality casters, the chiller can be easily moved. The 4-gallon (15L) water tank is enclosed to minimize evaporation, and the clear water level gauge provides a quick visual check of the water level.
4. Setup Instructions
Follow these steps for the initial setup of your CW-6000 water chiller.
- Unpacking and Placement: Carefully remove the chiller from its packaging. Place the unit on a stable, level surface in a well-ventilated area, ensuring sufficient space around the air inlets and outlets. The casters can be locked to secure the unit in place.
- Fill Water Tank: Open the water tank inlet cap. Fill the 4-gallon (15L) tank with purified water, distilled water, or a 50% antifreeze glycol solution. Monitor the water level gauge to ensure it reaches the 'FULL' or 'NORMAL' range. Do not overfill.
- Connect Water Pipes: Connect the water inlet and outlet ports of the chiller to your industrial equipment (e.g., laser engraver, CNC machine) using appropriate hoses. Ensure connections are secure and leak-free. The chiller's inlet connects to the equipment's outlet, and the chiller's outlet connects to the equipment's inlet.
- Power Connection: Connect the chiller's power cord to a grounded 110V/60Hz power outlet.
- Initial Power On: Turn the industrial main switch to the 'ON' position. The chiller will begin to circulate water and cool. The digital control panel will display the current water temperature.
- Check for Leaks and Air Bubbles: After initial power-on, check all connections for leaks. Allow the system to run for a few minutes to purge any air bubbles from the lines. You may need to add more water if the level drops significantly due to filling the equipment's internal lines.
5. Operating Instructions
The CW-6000 chiller is designed for straightforward operation. The smart control panel allows for precise temperature management.
5.1 Control Panel Operation
The digital control panel displays the current water temperature and allows you to set the desired temperature. Refer to the specific instructions provided with the chiller for detailed button functions (SET, UP, DOWN, RST, etc.) to adjust parameters and view status.
- Temperature Display: Shows the real-time water temperature.
- Setting Temperature: Use the 'SET' button and arrow keys to adjust the target temperature. The chiller will work to maintain the water temperature within ±0.5°C of your set point.
- Alarm Indicators: The panel includes indicators for various alarms (e.g., high temperature, low water flow, sensor error). Consult the troubleshooting section if an alarm is triggered.
5.2 Normal Operation
Once set up, the chiller will automatically regulate the water temperature. Ensure the air vents are unobstructed for continuous efficient cooling.

Figure 6: The CW-6000 chiller is compatible with a wide range of industrial equipment.
The CW-6000 is suitable for use with CNC equipment, laser processing equipment, analytical instruments, thermoforming equipment, ultraviolet light machines, and semiconductor equipment.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your water chiller.
- Check Water Level: Regularly check the water level gauge. Refill with appropriate cooling medium when the level drops to the 'ALARM' or low 'NORMAL' range.
- Clean Dust Filter/Condenser: Periodically clean the dust filter and condenser fins to ensure proper airflow and heat exchange. A clogged condenser can reduce cooling efficiency and lead to overheating. Use compressed air or a soft brush.
- Replace Cooling Medium: It is recommended to replace the cooling medium every 3-6 months, depending on usage and water quality, to prevent algae growth and mineral buildup.
- Inspect Hoses and Connections: Periodically check all hoses and connections for signs of wear, cracks, or leaks. Replace any damaged components immediately.
- Drain Water for Storage: If the chiller will not be used for an extended period or during freezing temperatures, drain all water from the tank and lines to prevent damage.
7. Troubleshooting
This section provides solutions to common issues you might encounter with your CW-6000 water chiller.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Chiller not turning on | No power, main switch off, power cord damaged | Check power outlet, ensure main switch is ON, inspect power cord. |
| Insufficient cooling | Low water level, clogged condenser, ambient temperature too high, refrigerant leak | Add water, clean condenser, ensure proper ventilation, contact service for refrigerant issues. |
| Water flow alarm | Low water level, pump malfunction, clogged water lines | Add water, check pump, clear any blockages in water lines. |
| High temperature alarm | Overload, poor ventilation, fan malfunction, insufficient cooling medium | Reduce load, ensure clear vents, check fan operation, add cooling medium. |
