5. Setup
5.1 Charging the Guitar
Before first use, fully charge the PEFEEL SG12. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the guitar's charging port and a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The charging indicator light will show the charging status.
5.2 Powering On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the power button for a few seconds until the indicator lights illuminate.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the power button again until the indicator lights turn off.
5.3 App Installation and Connection
The PEFEEL SG12 works with a dedicated mobile application (available for iOS and Android) to unlock its full potential.
- Download the App: Search for the "PEFEEL Smart Guitar" app in your device's app store.
- Bluetooth Connection:
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.
- Open the PEFEEL Smart Guitar app.
- Follow the in-app instructions to pair your SG12 guitar via Bluetooth.
- USB Connection (for MIDI): Connect the guitar to your computer using the USB 2.0 Micro USB cable. The guitar will be recognized as a MIDI device, allowing connection to music software.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Basic Playing and Tone Selection
The SG12 can produce various tones. Use the controls on the guitar or the companion app to switch between different sounds.

The app provides 11 types of tones, including Acoustic Guitar, Classical Guitar, Steel Guitar, Electric Guitar, Rock Guitar, Bass, Piano, Marimba, Zither, PIPA, and Harp.

6.2 Digital Capo Function
Activate the digital capo feature to transpose your playing without physically moving a capo. This allows you to play songs typically requiring a 20-fret guitar.
- Refer to the guitar's onboard controls or the app for specific instructions on adjusting the digital capo fret position (Fret1 to Fret13).
6.3 Metronome
The built-in metronome helps with rhythm practice.
- Adjust the rhythm (1/4, 2/4, 3/4, 4/4, 6/8) and beat speed (10-200 BPM) using the guitar's controls or the app.
6.4 Silent Mode
For private practice, connect headphones to the 3.5mm stereo earphone jack. This will mute the internal speaker.
