2. Important Safety Information

4. Setup
4.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging. Retain the packaging materials for future storage or transport.
4.2 Placement
- Place the dehumidifier on a firm, level surface.
- Ensure there are no obstacles within 10cm (approximately 4 inches) of the air inlets and outlets to allow for proper airflow.
- Avoid placing the unit near heat-generating appliances or in direct sunlight.
4.3 Power Connection
Connect the power adapter to the dehumidifier and then plug it into a standard 110V/60Hz AC electrical outlet. Ensure the connection is secure.
4.4 Drainage Options
The posdry VS-DH07 offers two methods for water drainage:
4.4.1 Manual Drainage (Water Tank)
The dehumidifier will collect moisture in its 800ml water tank. When the tank is full, the unit will automatically shut off, and the indicator light will turn red. You will need to manually empty the tank.

4.4.2 Continuous Drainage (Drain Hose)
For continuous operation without needing to empty the water tank, you can use the included 3.28ft (1m) drain hose.
- Pull out the water tank from the dehumidifier.
- Locate the drain port on the back of the unit.
- Firmly plug one end of the drain hose onto the connector.
- Place the other end of the hose into a suitable drain, such as a sink or floor drain. Ensure the hose is positioned downwards smoothly to allow gravity to drain the water effectively.
- Slide the water tank back into the dehumidifier.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Powering On/Off
After connecting the power, press the power button located on the front of the unit to turn the dehumidifier on. The indicator light will illuminate blue. Press the button again to turn the unit off.
5.2 Automatic Shut-off
The dehumidifier is equipped with an automatic shut-off feature. When the 800ml water tank is full, the unit will automatically stop operation, and the indicator light will turn red. This prevents water overflow. Empty the water tank and reinsert it to resume operation.

5.3 Optimal Operating Conditions
For best dehumidification performance, observe the following environmental conditions:
- Temperature: The optimal room temperature range is 59℉-104℉ (15℃-40℃). Dehumidification effectiveness may be reduced below 59℉ (15℃) and the unit will not operate below 41℉ (5℃).
- Humidity: The optimal room humidity range is 45%RH-80%RH, with a temperature of at least 68℉ (20℃). Higher humidity levels within this range will result in more noticeable dehumidification.
- Airflow: Ensure the air inlets and outlets are not blocked during operation to maintain efficient airflow.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and efficient operation of your dehumidifier.
6.1 Cleaning the Water Tank
When the water tank is full, or periodically during continuous drainage, it is recommended to clean the tank to prevent mold or bacterial growth.
- Turn off the dehumidifier and unplug it from the power outlet.
- Carefully pull out the water tank.
- Empty any collected water.
- Clean the inside of the tank with mild soap and warm water. Rinse thoroughly.
- Dry the tank completely before reinserting it into the dehumidifier.
6.2 Cleaning the Exterior
Wipe the exterior of the dehumidifier with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the surface.
6.3 Air Filter (if applicable)
This model does not feature a removable air filter for user cleaning. Ensure the air inlets and outlets remain clear of dust and debris.
