2. Setup and Initial Operation

2.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove the watch from its packaging. Inspect for any visible damage.

2.2 Initial Winding

This watch features an automatic mechanical movement. For initial use or after the watch has stopped, it requires manual winding to build up power reserve.

  1. Locate the crown on the side of the watch case.
  2. Ensure the crown is in its normal, pushed-in position (Position 0).
  3. Rotate the crown clockwise 30 to 40 times. This will manually wind the mainspring.
  4. The watch will start ticking.

Once the watch is running, normal arm movements will automatically wind the watch. If worn daily for at least 8-10 hours, manual winding should not be necessary.

  1. Pull the crown out to Position 2 (the outermost position). The second hand will stop.
  2. Rotate the crown to set the hour and minute hands to the desired time.

  2. Rotate the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise to adjust the date.

4. Maintenance and Care

4.1 Water Resistance

The watch is rated for 30 meters (3 ATM) water resistance. This means it is suitable for daily use, such as accidental splashes, rain, and hand washing. It is not suitable for:

  • Showering or bathing
  • Swimming or diving
  • Water sports
  • Exposure to drastic changes in water pressure

Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in before any contact with water.

4.2 Cleaning

Wipe the watch case and band with a soft, dry cloth. For ceramic and stainless steel parts, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by a dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

4.3 Storage

When not wearing the watch for extended periods, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and strong magnetic fields. A watch box is recommended to protect it from dust and scratches.

4.4 Bracelet Adjustment

The watch bracelet may require adjustment to fit your wrist. This typically involves removing or adding links. It is recommended to have this done by a professional jeweler or watchmaker to prevent damage to the ceramic links.

5. Troubleshooting

  • Watch has stopped or is running inaccurately:

As an automatic mechanical watch, it relies on movement to stay wound. If not worn for an extended period, it will stop. Manually wind the watch by rotating the crown 30-40 times clockwise. Ensure you wear the watch regularly (8-10 hours daily) for consistent operation.

  • Date is not changing correctly:

Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM. If the date is stuck, try advancing the time past 3 AM, then set the date, and finally set the correct time.

  • Condensation inside the watch:

This indicates a potential breach in water resistance. Stop using the watch immediately and contact customer support or a professional watch repair service.
